35USD with copper head?
I wondered how copper X5 is cheap, this looks much prettier.
Even with short tube it will have same cell capacity as X5, but smaller in all directions.
This will sell very well. I hope we have an option for 18650 tubes as well without having to get a new s1.

they should have done clear ano on the non copper parts to make it look even better.
i already suggested non coated parts and a 18650 tube will be available also 
i dont see using 18350 interesting…more light we want,more capacity we need…if not for 18650,no interes…but it seems,that its really also for 18650.and the winner is-astrolux s41:)

The emitter board looks like it says BLF on it. Was it designed by someone here?

They will have used one of the standard optics, they removed two of the legs to make room for the screws. [modder’s perpective] I bet if you solder the board and leave the screws out you can use the 4-legged Carclo [/modder’s perspective]

This is non standart optics. Had anybody seen it before?
Difference between optics OD and diameter of round where leds centers are laying is other (carclo optics is not cutted by each tir in center), if this optics have same 24mm OD this means that leds are laying closer to each other.
