I was lucky to get in on the presale at 15.99 each. I bought 1 of each.
They are already shipped. I now wish I had ordered a couple each at that price.
I am in love with all the little 10180 lights.
Between all the choices in material (Aluminium, Stainless, Titanium, Copper, Brass, etc)
for the CooYoo line, the DQG line, the Jetbeam Mini-1 line, Blackwater Kite line
and all the other ones I can’t get enough.
I don’t have any of the CUSTOM 10180 lights yet as those are much more pricey than these latest versions.

Holy Cow, I just realized after 2 years lurking around, this is my FIRST post.
Well, I received my two Astrolux M01 lights today. I bought both the Nichia and the Cree since I got in on the 15.99 preorder deal.
First thoughts: Packaging looks nice. (not that that really matters), Lights look nice, shiny stainless.
I opened the battery compartment up and removed the small round battery cutoff disk and reassembled them.
Turning them on I immediately noticed that it is hard to keep it on the low setting. It likes to “bounce” from low to high or even off.
If you get it set (turned) JUST RIGHT it will stay on low till it is barely bumped or touched. Not good.
Both lights are the same and I know the reason for this.
LOOSE threads between the body and head.
There is an awful lot of slop on the threads you can feel it by wiggling the head while on the body with the light off.
If you are going to tighten the head down tight EVERY TIME and only use the HIGH output this would not be a big deal.
As far as the output, both lights are great. The Nichia, of course, having a nicer “true” color output compared to the “white” from the Cree.
Having compared this to other 10180 lights I have, I would have to pass on advising anyone to get one over the other brands available.
All because of the looseness in the threads between the head and the body.
It’s really to bad as this had the potential to be a nice light.
I’m just glad I got these for 15.99 each or I might have been even more disappointed.
