a bit confused here. There is Jax, and Jaxman? Two different companies? Is there a company called Jax? Do they have a website? Everyone seems to LOVE their lights/quality.
Hello Guys, iâm Wonwuster one of the admins on CPFItalia.
As Budda said, we are waiting for some news about the COMETA from Banggood. None of us in CPFItalia have more news than the ones that we already know.
I personally wrote three email to Neal, asking informations about the project and other news of the troubles that all of us know very well, but none of the email sent was replied.
I kindly ask patience about this project because we are all in the same boat, and when Cyberscudo will have some updates or i will be able to have some news from Neal, i will write on CPFItalia and here on BLF for sure.
Unfortunately I cannot surely answer because, as I said in my last message, I have no more news than the ones that all we already know. I hope that this project will be achieved in the way that we planned time ago.
Is this unsafe, âfakeâ, not working 100% light a reason to do a paypal claim? Clearly Neal from BG has no replies to anybody, and like others GBs with Manker/Banggood all just run out in the sea, and we are stuck with the product.
What will others do? Keep the light or ask for a refund? And they that keep the light, are you handy man/woman that can solder and fix anything?
I do not have the Jax Z1 so you have me at a dis-advantage there. I am sure it is a nice light.
What I do have is a Kloepper Knife Works modded Uniquefire 1504 that puts out 429k and has a lighted tailcap (Worth every penny)
It cost just over $100 and with that output, I am saying âI donât need any more Zoomiesâ so please forgive me for using the phrase âwe donât need any more zoomiesâ
Now if you can tell me how to get the Cometa to 429k for $100 I am all ears. They advertise the group buy one at 198k and some members have gotten over 205k but that is still half of the modded Uniquefire 1504.
I spent that amount of money to stop the purchasing of flashlights that do the same job but only slightly better.
Multiple purchases quickly add up over the $100 threshold.
Itâs like you when get used to driving a car with 300hp and it seems fine, but when you get the 500hp one, suddenly there is no going back.
I also erred in saying the 1504 doesnât take the 26650, sorry, just have too many zoomies I guess
Itâs all good.
Thanks
Keith
That's fine. I just don't think I will bother taking it all down, as you have pointed it out... it's not valid info, it's been noted by you. I didn't read everything about the controversy and I probably never will, so I should probably just stay out of it, since I don't really plan on being all that involved anyhow. Guess I was just not sleeping last night at the hospital and felt like running my mouth after all these days of silence.
I canât figure out this.
BG bought 100 lens for replacing, warranty and co.
Now, some say BG used the jaxman lens in the cometa produced by manker , while others say that the cometa lens is cleary inferior to the jaxman one. Which one is true?
Also, Iâd like to hear how can you make hundreds reserved lights with 100 lens
I realize Manker made the Cometa from Banggood specs (so they say), however, Manker has control over the engineers, the machining, and the quality control aspects of the whole deal.
Let me ask Mankerlight a couple questions. Being that everyone knows you are a flashlight manufacturer, and that you manufactured the Cometa. Was money more important building a defective, sloppy, and potential dangerous light, than building a quality safe light, knowing full well hundreds of these would end up in the hands of people who have little or no knowledge of modifying flashlights? Did you not consider this would damage your reputation? What about the MCPCB design flaws of the S41 or the E14? Although not at the same level of incompetence, none the less, obviously very little thought process. Is there a problem at the Manker factory where engineers are not allowed to speak up when they see a potentially dangerous design flaw? Do you actually have engineers?
Donât you have the responsibility to tell the non-engineers at Banggood the design is flawed and potentially dangerous?
to The Miller, the cometa OP said that the light would be made by Jaxman, and not just âbased onâ a Jaxman light. many ppl commented that they were glad the light would not be made by Manker, and there are still posts on the second page saying that the light would be made by Jax. I would never had bought it had I known it would be made by Manker, due to past mistakes and spec changes. The Jaxman info was later deleted from the OP. I was the first one to point out that the Jaxman info had been deleted, and many other posts were deleted or edited regarding the planned manufacturer. As soon as i pointed this out, Kronos spoke up and told me not to say anything about the deleted info. I, of course, found this to be very suspicious, especially since Kronos is so closely aligned with Manker. George, you are, as always, welcome to comment.

i would ask admin to restore all the deleted info from the COMETA group buy thread so we can see everything that was said.
The design of Jaxman Z1 costed us about 1 year time. There are about 20 pcs components supplied by 10 factories in 1 set of Z1. All partsâsize are accurate manufatured, and adjustd many times even a O ring.
It is very normal that there are kinds of problems in such a lens flashlight built by fully copied only outlook not structure, and even in so short days.
I confirm that:Jaxman and Manker are brand manufacturers of flashlights. We are familiar with eachother well by Chinese forum. Manker should know what is a Jaxman Z1 looks like.
I am very disappointed that our counterparts make a 100% outlook copy flashlights for other re-seller.We should respect each other, and should care of our reputations, not only benefit.
