They have been very slow with their latest pre-order releases but if you wait you are likely to be waiting for a very long time as the amount of these NW emitters at the moment are very limited according to ZL. So it's anyone's guess when they will receive enough of them to release them on a permanent basis. Release date is supposedly 28 Nov.
SC600 interests me because for it´s power vs. scalability. I mean, it can be used easily either with very very high power or very low power for ridiculously long time...
Also small form factor and sideclicky make it appealing. Price is a bit high but nothing with specs like this really is.... On the other hand, I´ve been lurking on the Q50 for the "easiness" of just slabbing it full of those Eneloops and go...
Received my SC600W. I would say it's more on the warmer side of neutral. Definitely warmer than my XenoE03 NW. The Xeno NW is actually closer to my H600's CW than to the SC600's neutral. Guess this is my first "warm" light then. Oh and XTAR batteries fit in the sc600 and the H600...! They're tight but they fit :)
I just noticed that ZL removed the "estimated shipping" notice off of the SC600w page. I have a feeling that there are going to be a massive number of shipping notices going out tomorrow.
Got my "w" today. It's got the step-down. I kind of wanted one without, but I think I'm better off with it. I'm not head-over-heels for the light, but it's nice. I really just wanted a SC60 with an XML, the SC600 is a tad bit big for me to pocket carry. (I want the soft switch back too. :p)
china post is taking a long time to deliver my sc600w. It was shipped on the 24th... still not here. Unforunately I find china post and hong kong post take longer at this time of the year :(
