18350 battery recommendation

I just ordered a Manker E14 flashlight which uses 18350 batteries (among others).

I don’t have any experience with the 18350 batteries so I am looking for some recommendations for a good high drain unprotected battery to use in the Manker E14.

Thanks,

Bob

I get good results with the purple Efest 18350 cells. There is a light purple version and a newer dark purple version that performs ever so slightly better, both work excellent so far.

Here’s an Amazon link but I’m afraid I do not know much about american sellers: Amazon.com

I’d consider these

Efest Purple IMR 18350 - 700mAh
or
Efest 18350 V1 IMR 800mAh

Unfortunately, it looks like Mountain Electronics is out of both. If you need them very soon, I’d call around to some local “vape shops” and see if they have any in stock. A lot of times they do, for only a few dollars more than Mountain Electronics.

Efest 18350 Purples are good for high drain applications. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a seller, as Richard has them listed as out of stock.

The red Efest ones perform well, but the purple ones allow considerably more current in direct drive lights like the Manker E14.

An Ebay link (there’s more sellers):

1st gen purple Efest 18350 were ~750mah in capacity while 2nd gen purple Efest 18350 are ~930mah despite the labels both advertising 700mah. I think 1st gen is also higher drain. Both solid cells though.

Thanks for the replies and recommendations guys.

I recently bought a pair of these AWT’s so I could use my triple 219c as a shorty.

They perform well, reading over 13amps on startup fully charged.
