10440 Battery Queries

Most of the 10440 batteries I see are around the 320 / 350 mah but all the Trustfire ones seem to be touted at 600mah …. is this realistic and they’re virtually double the capacity or am I just buying junk

Generally they don’t seem that easy to come by, does anyone have any recommended brands and ideally at a higher capacity although that may not be possible??

The Trustfire 10440 that I have is around 200mAh, so the label is lying. It is not really junk but the capacity is low and for little money you can buy an Efest 10440 V1 that beats it in capacity and current capability, and has a safer chemistry (IMR) too.

I thought this might be the case so thank you for that

I bought some of these they are good for the price… they are not high drain but i have seen mine do 2amps even though it says max is 0.7amps. But its pointless to have a high drain 10440 light no enough capacity!

They had come up in my searches but had no idea what they were like so cheers for that!!!

I just read the battery now it says good to 2amp discharge lol i think i read the website wrong.

I hadn’t seen those Soshine 10440s until now. That’s a heck of a deal for 4 cells if they’re decent. I have Trustfire and Efest 10440s now. The Efest are the better of the two but I use the TF where I need button tops and they’ve served me well though the capacity is certainly lower than advertised.

Yea mate they are good!

I have one in my singfire 348 SE i got like 1.7amps at the tail cap with the Singfire 348.
One in my Creelant V1A
One in the Astrolux A01 even though i shouldn’t.
How much are the efest? Its hard to source them we cant buy any thing in Australia and not many legit Chinese seller have efest cells…
I bought fandyfire IMR 16340s from fasttech they are okay capacity isn’t to bad about 550-600Mah and you get two for about $5 US dollars.they deliver more current then the Soshine i bought.

These work in my lights that won’t accept the flat tops.

I have the protected trustfire 10440 that I got on amazon: they work well and fit in some of my lights like my pelican, microstream and my ultac K18. Like most the members say the efest are likely the best as they fit in more lights and will provide something like 300mah. No way will any 10440 do 600 mah.
