Yeah, I see Eneloops and Fujitsu for not much over $2 per cell for a dozen or more quantity, but not often or predictably.

They are produced in Japan, most probably in FDK Twicell factory, performance is on par with ‘original’ Sanyo Eneloops i.e. better than newest Panasonic Eneloops made in China.
