Not light related and I’m unsure when it ends but $299 bandsaw selling for $129.
Apparently price matching Aldi on a bandsaw they have but this one has a stronger motor and 2 years warranty.
Not too many left - my local stores out after I got mine.
Bunnings do their prices different for different areas too - on special afaik in NSW and Victoria only.

Hey guys this is a good deal i think if you are looking for a drill. My Ryobi is still good but i have been looking for an impact driver but i also want a multi tool thing… so either i will buy this pack or buy the Triton XT pack! Might i add i need a reciprocating saw to cut branches but i think a mains powered one would be better. So either a second drill or a impact driver to use when i am building and moding lights.

This is a good deal!
Masters Home Improvement (half price)

Cheap and nasty but would do the job i need it for!

You would need an Apple 12W USB Power Adapter which should provide the 2.1A. Not the 5W, only 1A.
The older 10W will provide 2A which may be OK.

Cheers, bought 2 packs of the Pro AAA’s

Are these the Japanese FDK Eneloops or the inferior Chinese version?

Their pics show Capacity Retention: 65% which AFAIK indicates they are the China manufactured Eneloops (the Japanese are 70%).

Best Regards,

George

Thanks. I’ll give this offer a miss then. Might as well get the IKEA Ladders at $1 each.

Didn’t have a non anodized BLF A6 yet so I bought this one:

Cheapest I’ve seen it, under $25AUD

Alrighty lads seeing as so many of yous do metal work. Plus mods and other hobbies check out these deals.

I just bought one of these today Ryobi 370W Bench Grinder / Sande to add to my Ozito bench grinder. I asked the lady why they are on special and she didn’t know. Bunnings just got rid of the Mcculloch line so maybe they will reshape the Ryobi range. The Mcculloch line trimmer and blow and chainsaw where half price but they where sold out when i went.

Ryobi 370W Bench Grinder / Sander ($100 Half price usually $200)

I am after a Makita belt sander and reciprocating saw. Also an angle grinder i was looking at getting a metabo if any one sees any deals or even second hand let me lads please!

Hey lads another day and another deal! $5 LEDs @ Aldi!

Aldi have LED light bulbs in all different tints from 6500k-3000k.

Also different outputs from like 7-12 watts i think. Plus both the base types Edison and Bayonet types. 600-1100 lumens depending on wattage and tint.

You can get them in dimmable and none dimmable

I just bought a 3000k 12 watt bulb its like 950 lumen output cost me $5 so cheap! A bulb like this would have been $12-$14 dollars at Woolies or Coles. Just a few weeks ago i bought a Phillips bulb 7w for $5.50 it was like half price.

All the different wattage’s and output and tints are all the same price $5 so its a good deal i will buy some more if i can. Wasn’t many left today and the deal only just started.

They are a good build quality the covers seems to be glass and not plastic like other brands. They have good heat sinking i am yet to take one apart to check it out i only bought one because not many left. If i can buy more i will tear it down.

The brand is Brilliant i looked them they work out of Melbourne and sell to other jobs like Bunnings and JohnRturks

Once again this thread is me talking to me lol

Aldi have some tools on sale on the 27/May/2017 They may help with your torch DIYs

Reciprocating Saw 850W $44.99

Belt and Disc Sander 370W $149

Assorted Bit Sets $12.99

Assorted Hand Tools like snips and side cuts $4.99

Assorted Drill Accessories $7.99

I want to go and pick up some cheap side snips and maybe some drill accessories.

Thanks.
I’m interested in the aviation snips, very useful when ripping apart laptop battery packs.
The last cheap pair I got were rubbish.
Cheers.

Beat you to it!

Aldi again:

Looks like a 2x AA “LightWay” brand
“5W CREE LED chip with 160 lumen light output and a light range up to 130m”

also
LED pen light, 3 x AAA

You know I’m going to walk in there with the intention of purchasing one to check it out and walk out with nothing.

Hi
Just my opinion but I bought the 2xAA zoomie last year from Aldi…it’s not worth the $14

You’re probably right Ragsy!

I’ll most likely do the same as MRsDNF too.

Yea i seen the torches but thought they would be duds so i left it out.

Bunnings is actually price matching Aldi on there sale items.

It would appear that Bunnings is trying to push Craftright and Trojan as a medium quality tool now. I have to buy bolt cutters and a mallet. Then i will pay Ragsy a visit lol Sounds kinky right? :stuck_out_tongue:

Crafright 250mm Straight Cut Aviation Snips $4.98

190mm Diagonal Pliers (No name) $4
