From the state that it does not charge a phone anymore, it took about 4600mAh to charge to full.
Intake amperage was steady 800mAh most of the time, not more.
It has light purple colored batteries inside.
Not light blue as I´ve seen in some reviews. No markings stating “LG” or anyting else at all.
As far as I know, PCB is different as is the plastic cage inside also.
Hey mate the cells could be real? What marking are on them? My romoss battery bank said it came with quality cells and they where Chinese cells i think BAK.
My 2-year-old was no longer holding full charge so I popped it open. Found 4 grey LGABB41865 cells which are fully charging to only 4.11v and losing charge fast (one especially drops to 3.7v in about 12-14 hours, the rest stay around 4 volts). Funny thing is, I rarely used mine in the two years but a couple of friends who bought theirs with mine at the same time and have been using it everyday have theirs working just fine.
Just saw the attached pic, CheapThrills, and it certainly is a fake. The real one is housed in a single-piece of aluminium housing, and the cells/circuitry have to be slid out of that. Also, all “wires” are wide copper strips insulated with transparent plastic, not like the wires in your case.
I’m glad they upheld your dispute and refunded you.
Just out of interest, did he have this little gem in his listing when you purchased or has he added this as a result of your dispute?
