Leddriver shortcut??

Can you shortcut a leddriver with too much heat from the gas soldering iron. I have used my new gas soldering iron for the first time, to solder a new driver into the brass pill of a drop-In Modul. I also used it to solder the spring at the buttom of the driver. But the led does not light up? when I try to use it in the flashlight??
instead the spring is extremely hot, even though I only have the flashlight “on” in a very short time.
The gas soldering iron was used with at full throttle … and I have come to think about whether it might have been turned too far up compared to normal soldering temperature(I normally us an electric soldering iron) as it also can be used for functions other than for soldering.
It’s this one I have: Movie of my gas soldering iron

There’s a short bypassing the led. Some good pics and we might be able to locate it for you. A common one is the reflector touching the led+ solder bump.

Okay thanks :+1:
