HKJ will find out the real facts about this Xtar ! :+1:
They should send him a tester ASAP ! They’re in business and they
should be aware of how strong this man’s reviews are with many,
many people , which I’m quite sure they are , who use rechargeable
batteries and the chargers for them. If they really don’t know or
understand the power that HKJ has in the battery and charger world ,
they’re “asleep at the wheel” so to speak or they might be purposely
doing so !

The only things that I look forward for VC4 Plus are:
Coloured LED indicators.
Charging bays are evenly space out.
Accuracy as claimed.

I’m excited, can it charge 4 D batteries at once?
EDIT- I found the answer, it is YES!
http://www.xtar.cc/products_detail/productId=155.html
From their page: 0.5A/1.0A/2.0A charging currents you can choose.
Optional charging currents maximize the battery lifespan.
You can charge four 32650/D size batteries at the same time.
CH1 & CH4: 0.5A/1.0A/2.0A
CH2 & CH3: 0.5A/1.0A

Looks like an impressive charger. Many of the functions of the Opus and Liitokala analysing chargers, but with XTAR’s quality.

If it does what it says on the tin, it might replace the Opus BT C3100 as my main charger.
The build quality of XTAR without the whinning sound of Opus small fan

More useless bargraphs and counters on the screen, but missing battery voltage. Meh.

No. Just no. Thats about twice as much as I’d ever pay. I can get a mc3000 on sale for 90 bucks.

No way they can charge $90 for that… there is no reason to not go for the much more advanced MC3000 instead.

Price is a bit higher than expected. I was hoping for less than AU$100/US$75. Oh well, lets hope I’m lucky in a giveaway, or snag a review version, or the price comes down.

Me too. We need a group similar to A.A. to support each other in difficult moments, so no one budges and buys it for more than $37

For that price $75 U.S. or less you buy two XTAR VP2 chargers.

I’d pay $50 maximum if it turns out to be a great charger with more bells and whistles than my pair of VP2’s .

I was waiting for this charger for some time. Price turned me off. Got the regular VP4 for a third of the price. Charging four 30Qs right now. This thing is sexy But why is the power cord so dang short……?

Perfect charger for my needs… but not for $90. I’ll be watching out for coupons/sales/group buys and using my VP2 until I eventually cave in.
