Overview: All Eneloop batteries 2005-2024

It looks like new IKEA LADDA and DURACELL are exactly the same batteries in different sleeves:

Hi,

from your table on the first page I cannot distinguish between 4th and 5th generation of BK-3MCC and BK-4MCC (both same cycle charge and same mAh). How can I know, which I have?

I ordered mine in Europe (Germany) and it says:
– Panasonic “BK-3MCCE” Production date: “1 5 . 10HZ” “Made in Japan” (750 mAh)
– Panasonic “BK-4MCCE” Production date: “16-03 Y W” “Made in Japan” (1900 mAh)

And my last question is: Are mine BK-3MCCE a little bit old, because they seem to be manufactured in 2015? (Not sure, if I interprete the code correctly, since there is a space between “1” and “5”.

Thanks for your help!

Reading all this information got me excited. I own 1st and 2nd generation Eneloops since 2010 and just bought 28 AA and AAA plain eneloops at NKON. However, this forum got me excited in collecting and buying some more coloured and special editions. But to collect these old ones seems quite difficult and a lot of extreme prices can be found online.

In essense, if somebody can help me out with some nice editions, please send me a private message! Paypal or international bank transfer is possible!

anyone heard something of the new Ocean Tones. Saw it on FB eneloop europe.

Hello and thanks for helping with any suggestions about where I should buy 8-12 AA Eneloops here in the USA and which model. I tried to educate myself with the wealth of knowledge ChibiM has provided but quickly got in over my head and ran out of time! I guess I’m looking for a good retailer with fair pricing. While I would like to have the pros, I can’t see spending the money when the lower mah eneloops are a better buy according to other posts I have read. Also, the lights they will go in are hobby lights ( soon to arrive (2) Nitecore EA45S, thanks to Teachers comments :+1: ) so one will sit most of the time until played with, and one for a gift. I’m sure that one will get used heavily until the novelty wears off :smiling_imp: What a fun hobby!

Thanks for your help and Cheers!

1. THIS is a trusted source that you can always count on. Great people to deal with and they ship fast.
2. THESE people are great also & ship equally as fast.
3. You could go HERE but my experiences have been it takes then forever to ship and their “free shipping” is about as fast as carrier pigeon.

I have 8 Eneloops Pro’s I got a long while back to check them out. I personally was not impressed with them at all. I would & will never waste my money on them again. I’ll stick with the regular ones.

Howdy and thank you teacher! Thomas Distributing has the Eneloop AA in stock with free shipping. The 16 pack was the same cost as buying 3each 4packs to get the 12 I wan:ted, so I went with the 16 batteries, 2000mah. They sure aren’t cheap but considerably less than the pro’s. And to end up getting 4 for free makes it a homerun :money_mouth_face:

Thanks again and another beer (on me) is in the future

Your welcome Don, glad to be of any assistance. That sounds like a plan too. Looking forward to it……

New in Europe!

Eneloop ocean colors

I guess somebody did a bad photoshop job.. see the difference between the top and bottom

organic/ocean

A bit of a shame that these newer limited editions only have four different variants instead of eight. Glitter is my all time favourite; Sanyo Eneloop, made by FDK in Japan :-).

I am right here. You can use the message system or find my email on the lygte-info webpage to contact me.

It is a good idea to check this article about my reviews: How to get stuff reviewed

For any Canadians looking to buy Eneloops, Costco has them on sale now (starting cyber Monday). About 25% off the regular price, which is a great deal for Canada. US might have them cheaper, but the US$ is a lot higher too, so it balances out.

Anyway, I ordered my yearly supply of AA’s and AAA’s, which I do every year, whether I need them or not!

I believe they are Japanese Eneloops. At least they are every other time I’ve bought from Costco.

Update: I can confirm they are Japanese Eneloops (package received).

Costco is having a sale on made in Japan Eneloops Comes with 8 aa’s, 4 aaa’s and a new style charger

There’s a Eneloop Pro model with min. 2550mAh BK-3HCCE

Just tried to place an order at Thomas Distributing.
I had a really hard time.
Absolutely positively no way to complete the checkout.

Checked into the Costco thing……
The special listed above was not available at my local Costco :rage:

The same kit was $29.95 unless they simply forgot to put the advertisement placard up.

Can anyone make out that Expiration date for this special on the photo above?
Looks like 12/11/2016 to me ?

Also, they are blue with white writing instead of white with blue writing….is that significant?
