LD01 mode switching

recently i purchased fenix combo pack, ld01 + e01 for about 38$ from some ebay seller... packed arrived and everything seems to be ok, but one thing is bothering me. In fenix description it states that delay between switching modes should not be greater than 2 seconds. Yea right. If i don't switch mode for about 0.5 second or less, i will get default (medium) mode again. On several other forums i read about same thing on more than few flashlights, but it's little bit strange to me. Don't know is this normal and fenix crew only made stupid mistake while writing manual or what. Does anybody have similar experience ?

my Fenix (see sig) is still in transit wtf. yes, for mode switching one must do the switching very quickly (within 1/2 sec) otherwise the light turns on in Med.

so how do you like the LD01? amazing built quality and beam beauty dont you think? :)

What Fenix is trying to say is if you turn it off for too long, it will start again in medium. If it is already turned on, it will switch to the next mode when you switch it again. The process of switching should be quick or else it will start in medium.
