Led testing?

What are you guys using to test amps or volts different led's.

Digital Multi Meter, I personally would prefer to be using an oscilloscope but those are expensive.

Nope. I explained it wrong. I am looking for a way to bench test LEDs that are not installed in flash lights. Kinda like a power supply but one that you can set you own volts or milliamps

A bench/lab power supply. They can be had from all kinds of sources and vary in price from less than 50 bucks to more than 10 thousand. If you want a really good one at a good price, look on ebay for a used HP/Agilent or maybe a Sorensen.

Personally, I use an older HP for 'small' currents where I want fine control down to the milliamp level, and a 1700 Watt Sorensen when I need real amps.

PPtk

I've been using an old Insteck GPR-3060 lab power supply for all my testing. Just checked and it looks like they can be had for ~$350ish...althought that's a lot more than I paid years ago.

Depending on your requirements, you could always build your own.
