Sweet looking torch!

I'll bet it would give the SR STL-V2 a run for it's money in terms of throw.

Sunwayman T40CS?

Sure :)

Looks like a copy of the Sunwayman T40cs. I'm betting the STL-V2 out-throws it.

Now this is interesting, it seems the aluminum LED base is sitting on the aluminum head. There is not just big hole there like on other cheap flashlights. So it looks good for modding.

This flashlight looks good, especially the color.

It is definitely inspired by the T40CS, but it's not a copy.

Look like both TC500 and STL-V2 have same size reflector.

ST-L V2 = XM-L T6 with 45000cd - 50000cd

TC500 = XM-L U2 XXXXXcd

I'm betting the TC500 out-throws it

It think it's more like a T40CS reflector, which is shallower than other reflectors and has immense sideflood.

You're on Pok. I'll put a dollar on the V2 to win !

DEAL!!! LOL

Shadow has a history of not driving XM-Ls to the max though. Hope this one does... looks like it has no issue doing 3.5A.

Nice but where's the 26650 love with these bigger reflector lights? :(

I would like to see something from Shadow that is similar to the HD2010. Maybe some sort of JM07/TC500 love child.

Now I'm waiting for big TrustFire X6 reflector using 1 or 2x26650 or 3x18650 side by side .

Or maybe TN31 clone

80mm class always wins.

I’m hoping the newest crelant is a bigger reflector

I would agree with 2100 that maybe Shadow are not really hard drivers, so so to speak. They seem a bit outdated when it comes to that.

However a big plus for Shadow, which is mot mentioned, is the lack of pills. The LEDs are directly placed at the end of head, thus the thermal transfer is direct to the fins, no screw-in pills, and of course no brass. Since there is less thermal resistance of course you will fell the heat quicker, that not being a downside.

Given the price, quality and features I would say it's a good light for modding for those who like the style.

I've read around the forums that they want to do a thrower with an optical lens.

I hope it doesn't mean aspherical lens. I just don't like them.
