Playing with TK41 Beamshots

I wanted to experiment with some longer shutter settings like they use at fonarik.com but my camera does not do too well at ISO 800.

So I used 13" shutter speed and f14 (instead of f16) to compensate for the ISO400 that I used. Light and camera were sitting on the back of my red Mustang, so you don't get a full 360 degree beamshot as the spoiler and body sort of cut off the lower spill.

This is the TK41 on Lo, it is almost a control shot

Medium brings out real light

Now the TK41 on High

And on Turbo

This is a shot angled the opposite direction down my driveway. That bright white thing to the left of the tree is my mailbox post, almost 250 feet away. Turbo mode

Thanks troop!

Wow. You think the TK41 is brighter than the HD2010?

I would think so but since I don't have the HD I wouldn't be able to say for sure. Anyone here have both?

My favorite flashlight. Nice pictures Troop.

I'm with you guys. The Tk41 is my favorite flashlight. It does everything except fit in my pocket.

Well, it fits but it spooks my wife when I carry it like that…

If you have the possibility, could you measure how much lux TK41 throws at 1m on turbo?

I don't have a meter that will do that, maybe someone else does.

It is the best thrower I have, but I don't buy muilti-emitter lights or multi-18650 lights.

Has same reflector as the HD2010 and should be same brightness maybe. That's why I wondered if a difference could be seen.

I didn't found lux@1m for tk-41 anywhere, but found a test for tk-60. It has the same head (or it looks like the tk-41) and the light output values are very close with tk-41. So just for info, TK60, Turbo - 45,936 Lux @ 1 Meter
