Tenergy D NIMH 10,000MAH-Great Deal

I just bought 2(8 batteries) this morning. Heck I paid that much for 4 from all-battery on ebay on my first set I bought for my TK70. The seller has 3 more available(12 batteries). There being sold 4 at a time. I figured 8 should do me since that will give me 12 batteries total I now have. But I wanted to pass this deal on to any TK70 owners or anyone else needing a good D NIMH high capacity battery. I hear this seller sells some good ones.

Wow thats a great deal!!

Yep!

This seller used to sell them I believe for 8 at $24 shipped. I got 8 for $33.98. I think I paid $33 something for 4 from all-battery. I'd bought more, but I don't really need more. So that's why I'm sharing this deal with other members here.

I have bought many batteries from marrsinc. I PMed VIET PRIDE BULLIES about these batteries at 11AM this morning. He better act fast.

BTW beat ILF by 4 minutes, I was the first buyer. I used to get them 8@$24.99 delivered.

Got my MEGA HID from them for $39.99!

Does anyone use a Maha C9000 to charge D cells? If so how do you do it?

Correction. That was a great deal.

Nice find Brad!

I have bought from them before. They are a great seller.

I don't have one but you could just use wire with magnets on the end to do so. That is how I charge my lifepo4 14500 batteries in a charger meant for rcr123a. I have a feeling it will be extremely slow since they are 10,000 mah.

Edit: I just looked it up and if you set the charge current to 2.0 a then it should only take 5 hours.

Wow! Now that is a good deal!

Thanks WILLIE for remember me, but I missed it.
Just order 8 premiums white a while ago with a friends there since he’s going to VN. Really good price, would like to buy more been though I don’t need it.

Thanks.

Same seller has these AA batteries at a steal of a price. I'm guessing they are good, too.

These AAA Tenergy batteries aren't a bad buy either.

I'm very curious to know how this batch tests on the Maha 9000, when someone gets around to it.

I bought from an earlier batch a few months ago but those were showing their age/storage conditions had lost some freshness

Very good deals there

Seven. You have to put in about 140% of capacity with NiMH. Li-Ion is much more efficient in terms of how much of the energy you put in you can get out again (95+% vs ~70% for NiMH).

Have not really ventured into rechargeables yet--but I am ready.

What is with the "tabbed" batteries?

2.0 a is the maximum charge current on his charger.

I told Rick that ever since I made the switch to NIMH AA batteries for my digital camera that I get about 3 to 4 times as many pictures as I did with AA alkalines. The NIMH batteries smoke alkalines. There is no comparison between them.

Nimh drop voltage quicker then alkaline's its why they show up a lower reading on battery displays in cameras, xbox controllers and so on but they hold there voltage for much longer and can hold voltage at a higher current draw, Ive been using nimh for years in rc and general life.

A bit of useless info, ni-cd,s suffer from memory effect, but hold a higher voltage for longer at the start of the discharge cycle but drop off quickly once the cells start discharging.

Nimh don't suffer from memory effect, but don't hold the initial discharge voltage as high as a nicad but the nimh will hold voltage for much longer then the nicads.

As an example back in the old day of RC (remote control) cars you could have two of the same cars one running nicad battery pack one running a nimh battery pack, the nicad would give you like a 30 second advantage over the nimh battery due to it held its initial voltage better for a short time, but by the end of the race the nicad would run out of energy and drop off very quickly but the nimh battery was still going the same as it did at the start of the race, due to this and the memory effect nicads went out of fashion.

Its only china selling nicads in cheap products these days or putting nimh labels on old nicads these days your better off with nimh,s as you can top up charge them, where nicads don't like this as they will remember if you only charged them 20% in a top up then they only let you use the 20% of the battery so it pays to cycle them to freshen them up.

NIMH are way better.
