Skyray King owners

after much research i saw this deal so i took the plunge https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/8853

i thought i just get a thread going on these, this is going to be my second flashlight but i also got another 5 on order non arrived yet. i've been doing alot of read but yet to post a thread so if other owners share some insights into this light with me ... dying waiting for it to arrive :P

i got 4x ultrafire unprotected cells off ebay for 5$ and they all messured 4.2v would this be ok to use on this flashlight or do i need to invest in some good ones ?

Here your picture is. I would not recommend using those batteries as you don't know their history and whether or not they are good cells.

they look brand spanking new i couldnt pass i thought seller was selling 2 for 5$ not 4 but got sented 4 :P

what batteries everyone using ? i dont want 4 of these explode in my hand i've seen some shocking videos.

Recheck their voltage after 24 hrs and see if they drop in voltage or keep. Then recheck again 3days later.

In general I avoid Ultrafire cells like the plague.

will do lol, when my skyray king arrives surely 2 hours on high will test these :P

any recommendations on what batteries to use ? x4 ?

I hope you don't get hurt using those batteries

Also make sure you get a partial refund using this picture. :P I mean they said you get two!

+ 1

expect 50% partial refund ;)

after about 30 mins of use, i check voltage droped to like 3.7 from 4.2

Batteries, you kinda get what you pay for. its the heart of the light after all.
