i got 4x ultrafire unprotected cells off ebay for 5$ and they all messured 4.2v would this be ok to use on this flashlight or do i need to invest in some good ones ?

Here your picture is. I would not recommend using those batteries as you don't know their history and whether or not they are good cells.

they look brand spanking new i couldnt pass i thought seller was selling 2 for 5$ not 4 but got sented 4 :P
what batteries everyone using ? i dont want 4 of these explode in my hand i've seen some shocking videos.
Recheck their voltage after 24 hrs and see if they drop in voltage or keep. Then recheck again 3days later.
In general I avoid Ultrafire cells like the plague.
