UniqueFire UF-V2 Vs FandyFire STL-V6 Vs Olight M3X

Just got done comparing the 3 at 70yds with a shutter of 2 and focal of 3.2 on manual. There is no doubt in my mind which one won. I'll save the best for last. But all of these lights are winners.

UniqueFire UF-V2

FandyFire STL-V6

Olight M3X

thanks for the shots! ive been pretty happy with the uf-v2 at work..i don't really care what happens to it so i use it quite often..threw a trustfire c8 body with 2 18350's on it and it makes for an awesome short body thrower..it will also run 1 18650 and tailcap readings are 2.2a..works in a pinch

And just for grins same distance and settings above.

Here's the Dereelight DBS Tactical.

Another Close call Brad.. Great Pictures!!! I'm going to give it to the M3X, but you have to hand to the FandyFire STL-V6 it puts up a tough battle!!!

Thank you for taking the pictures tonight Brad, another great job and you probably are going to increase the sales on the Jacobs A60

Thanks Rick.

I can't leave out the Fenix TK70. Same distance and settings as above.

Would take the STLs personally, the DBS seems pretty much pointless, yea it will throw a long way but the square of light is so tiny it's useless.

Professionals Favorite Halogen Spotlight same distance and settings as above

My eyes are not trained with such interesting pictures. It seems Fenix TK70 throws like the FandyFire STL-V6 but a little bit more floody. Can you confirm it, please? I'd like to know and to look the pic of the Olight M21-X. Thanks for these wonderful pics.

Well the TK70 is like over twice as bright at 70yds as the others. And for throw I would say it's safe to say that the TK70 will throw probably at least 500yds. I would say the M3X and STL-V6 would be pretty close to the TK70 at the 500yd mark in brightness. What Fenix should have done was made the reflectors on the TK70 even deeper. Then it would be one bad thrower for a 3XM-L light. But really it already is a very good thrower and has a lot of useable spill.

Nice beamshots! Is there an HD2010 in your collection? Would be nice to see how it fares with these flashlights. :) :)

Can you tell me how many lumens does the HD2010 emit in low mode?

the STL-V6 is a great value, gives the more $$$ Olight a serious run for the money.

No doubt about it.

Nice beamshots! Thanks for doing this for us & good that you took the time to learn the manual settings - it really pays back when looking these photos!

Here's a mouseover of FF STL-V6 vs. Olight M3X (Mouse over for Olight):

What is the Max Beam Distance of FandyFire STL-V6?

I'd say around close to 500yds.

The M3X clearly wins with brightness hotspot in the first 3. But it looks like the TK70 despite sending out a wall of light still maintains a brighter hotspot, that's really impressive.

Great work ILF, your nailing this photography lark :)

+1. Good stuff. Got some money for my birthday (yeah I'm getting old but mum still loves me), what would you suggest as a thrower for under $70.00. The list keeps getting longer and more confusing.

For $70 you get 2 HD2010's which throw well over 300m :P

I think Tmart is having the sale (BLF) on the HD2010 you could buy one of them and buy a FandyFire STL-V6 from DX and your set....
