They seem expensive.

So THAT'S where all the eBay sellers are drop-shipping from

wow they have some serious cheap stuff there!!

check their headlamps!!

They might be a great company, but I'm having a hard time with the name....UltraOK is kinda like SuperMediocre or PositivelyPlain. That's petty, I know...but sums them up pretty well. What really ruins it for me is the prices are horrible on all but the junk lights.... For example, one light I've been looking at is the Trustfire Z1:

UltraOK price is $29.49

DealExtreme price is $17.50

It was the same story on the other lights I was looking at as well. The only thing I see they have going for them in the flashlight department is cheap prices on crap lights. I love budget lights, but don't have time for junk.

thanks for the review! this light looks interesting.

how long was the shipping time?

Same lame descriptions as ebay....No clear descriptions of what type emitter , huge lumen claims for lights ..high prices on odd lights ..

Well Boaz, I agree with some parts of your statements - particulary "over hyped claims" and unknown emmiters. But you can ask them to explain.

I have had quite good experience with them. I had to return one faulty headlamp, and they sent me substitution even before I've sent them faulty back. Not every seller would do that. And some budget zoom flashlight are of reasonable quality for the price. So I would give them a bit below 4 stars.

Ooops, the 5-star rating widget wasn't enabled for this post. Now you can rate them if you have any experience with them.

Well why did I try to find words to say about this place when you said it all

For practice...

Today arrived an order from UltraOk and there are some good suprises.

The itme ordered is this (it's a ultracheap light but i need it for a DIY)

http://www.ultraok.com/zoomable-3-mode-cree-led-aluminum-flashlight-torch-200-lumen-1xextension-ring_p1826.html?cPath=882_884

The surprises are these:

- Shipped on 4/24. "Only" 16 days to arrive. Considering the (slow) italian custom, it's a record.

- Arrived with tracked air mail (also if it cost $8,59) but they don't give me the number. I think they use it in case the package gone lost

- Light works great both on 3xaaa and 18650

- Every part is lubed properly

- Real Cree led emitter (probably a Q3)

- Holster as a gift

Ok, i'm forced to choose UltraOk because is the cheapest seller that ship also to Italy but i have to admit i'm quite surprised for the quality of the service. Maybe i was just lucky.

That's good to hear Davx. A pleasant suprise like that is always good news.

Last night I purchased a 1000 lumen flashlight from altraok.com's main web site. I had their website in my browsing favorites for more than a week going over the listed products nearly every day until I decided on the torch I wanted and made the purchase, and then submitted my payment via paypal. I have recieved no instant email comformation of my purchase as of yet. And last night I was able to return to the site to check on the status of my order to make sure it went through properly. The information was all there. However tonight some 18 hours later I wanted to go back and look their site over and check on my payment record and order number. I am now blocked from viewing their website and cannot connect through any link that leads there. "Error 401: You do not have permission to view the content on this website". This seems very strange to me. Very suspect. I checked this company out on ebay, and they are listed as a power seller and have thousands of items sold with 99.8 percent positive feedback. I once had an ebay account but closed it some years ago. But the ebay info leads me to believe this company is legit. I cleared out my surfing traces and history, cookies, etc. and still cannot view this site. I checked my paypal account and their are no unauthorized charges to my credit, and the only singly payment I made for the item I purchased. Anyone have any idea what could be going on with this? Is it possibly because the website is in China and the Chinese government is blocking my IP? I'm concerned none the less for obvious reasons. Any ideas or suggestions?

The website doesn't work for me either.

I don't think the Chinese government is blocking your IP, as there are many buyers from California and you haven't experienced problems with other Chinese websites. I believe so since you didn't mention about others not working.

I ordered a crap light from them several days ago. I'll check-back here when it arrives for an update.

AgentJen, I just tried to access http://www.ultraok.com/ and I received this error:

"403 Permission Denied
You do not have permission for this request /"

So you're not the only one that can't access their website, but I don't know what else to say... :X

DavX's link returns same error message as well...

...I guess everyone has no permission to buy anything from them right now.

It's up and running now.
