First you buy pair of King Kong or Trustfire flame cells.

Then you can try your luck with crap cells

That’s right. Listen to him and you won’t regret it!

Buying crap batteries is like buying a crap car (except you can’t fix the batteries). If a battery is half the price of a regular good battery its is also probably half the capacity or less. It is a waste of money and potentially dangerous.

TF Flames 26650 (protected) for those who are using high power apps and don’t really test cell voltages with DMM. These cells are sick and can blow up your hands easily.

I wish I knew this when I ordered my first batches of Li-Ions. If I knew and believed this I’d never ever buy cheap cells without a good reputation.

i kind of knew the answer but i guess i needed to hear it, and i appreciate the good advice. i will follow the advice too, and start with either a king kong or a tf.
