"NEW" Selfbuilt 7G5 V2 & Collimator Head Disassembly Dimensions Review in 2 old CPF threads with Beamshots & Comparisons.

Selfbuilt has just reviewed the Crelant 7G5 V2 with Collimator Head fitted on CPF.

There are some great beamshots and comparisons to Dereelight and Tiablo etc. Smile

Anyhow the CPF link is below and the article starts at post No 58.

CPF again

Or if the link above does not work then copy and paste the lines below.

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?335713-Crelant-7G5-V2...RUNTIMES-VIDEO-BEAMSHOTS/page2

OR

The link below has been updated to include the Collimator Head and new comparison beamshots as well from the start of this thread.

Other CPF Link.

Selfbuilts “Master List” at http://www.flashlightreviews.ca/ usually takes about a day to update and they are updated now.

Damn it, you can’t get his reviews without going to CPF.

Selfbuilt information can be found here as well.

Another Selfbuilt Link.

Cheers

Interesting, with as much information as he provides in his reviews, he neglects to include the most basic thing (IMO) and that is the stinkin’ diameter of the aspheric head and lens. WTF? That is one of the main things I want to know in all that information he has and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Can’t you post him a private message and ask those questions?

I could but he really should have included them in the first place. Just voicing my opinion and thoughts. Smile

No worries, he is very friendly and quick to reply normally.

I just don’t like having to go to CPF to get a look at a great new review.

I emailed Selfbuilt last night and while talking to him I said could he add the dimensions and other properties of the Collimator Head soon and he said he would probabaly do it last night.

And so it was to be.

So if you did not get a chance to ask him, it is now all done.

Cheers to you JohnyMac

Selfbuilt’s reviews are one of the reasons that CPF gets so many hits. The guy does a very detailed job, my hat is off to him.

Rats, finally sold my 2010 509hp Mustang...now I can buy more lights!

Sold the red one too! Now guess what I drive, doing my penance for 500 hp commuters...

Selfbuilt is very smart no doubt. But who I think is one of the smartest is HKJ. I have seen him correct selfbuilt. And to me that is saying something right there.
