Pretty much as expected except for the quicker drop off of the Panasonic bare cell.

Your post is informative but not really pretty, something went wrong with the pictures..

Thanks, indeed pretty much what one would expect.

Hopefully the pictures are ok now.

Hey Jim, good to see you here, you should add your torchy cells, I love the ones I got and will be getting more.

Where to buy these - Panasonic NCR18650A 3100mAh - for best price??

I’ve been busy testing samples of different sizes18350, 16340, 26650 and IMR/LiMn to have a bigger range under the Torchy brand.
Hopefully I will finalise the range soon.

I’m looking for some decent cells that don’t cost the earth too. Is it me, or have cell prices gone mad lately?

As well as 18650’s, will you have any 14500’s in your lineup torchy?

Only if I can find an unprotected 14500 near the quality of Yezl.

I think there are more good quality batteries about which is why the prices seem to be going up (although I can’t see what justifies the price of AW foe the most part). Hopefully Ultrafire. GTL, etc will disappear one day.

Hopefully I have a cheaper source for these. Samples shouold arrive next week, I’ll be testing them to make sure they perform as expected.

I got a price for 10 xtar 3100’s for usd $90 delivered from an alibaba seller. Including slow post which was supposedly $14.50 (seems a bit high) but overall ok considering others want $12 +

Thanks for the tip EDC.

I am currently looking at some Sanyo protected 2600’s from BIC, they offered me a $20 refund on my STL-V2 and I thought I would spend it with them.

I might look at some Panasonics next time

Panasonic CGR18650CH are a good alternative to AW IMR, higher capacity at 2250mAh

Sorry about the pictures, now updated
