discharge capacity

I have an iCharger 106B+ hobby charger. Last night I discharged 2 AA niMh cells in SERIES. At the end of the discharge process,
it showed the discharge capacity. Was it the capacity of one, or the average of the 2 cells, or something else? Thanks

It was the capacity of the cell with lowest capacity.

Thanks for the reply.

I have another concern: If the recommended charge and discharge rates on AA niMh are .5C and .25C respectively (by Powerex),
does it apply to D cells too? If not, what then are the recommended charge and discharge rates for Imedion 9500mah LSD D-cells? How about if done in series?

I do not know the actual recommended rates, but it will be lower for D cells than for AA and AAA.

Before using cells in series, you have to balance them, this is done by charging them 16 hours at 0.1C, you can do that in series. The idea with 0.1C is that you cannot (within limits) overcharge the cell, it will just dissipate the extra charge as heat.
