How much are we talking for one? Aside from the side-switch, the styling is very similar to the DRY, but the DRY will eat this alive in output performance. The price would have to be very appealing.

Now if this had the variable output ring on it….

It's a wee cheaper than a TN30... And of course like you say the DRY gives you more performance per $.

Looks and quality have to count for something…Heck the forward clickie is worth 200 –300 lumens.
If the price is right it may be one difficult decision.

Well, this IS the budget light forum. Even though this is very appealing, I still have a Skyray King and TrustFire J18 coming

The flipside is there SHOULD be no concerns with quality and durability when it comes to Sunwayman vs the rest. Unfortunately at this lumen range it’s usually all about brief spurts of “show-off” power and there are certainly more economical options.

$205 USD

it’s really nice, but I think I prefer the tn30 though still…and i’m a big swm fan…

This is the big question, you certainly and justifiably pay more for quality, but what defines quality in a flashlight moneywise to justify the 3x price over the DRY or the KING? Is the driver unique and extremely expensive and so are the electronics involved? Is the machining and anodizing of the aluminum done in an entirely different and expensive process? Is it made in another country which has expensive labor costs, and not in China?

If it was at 2x the price I am sure it would have been a temptation for many of us, and this also includes the TN30... I wonder who wouldn't want to buy this one or a TN30 if they were around the 130$ mark?
