WTF??? I have been looking for Klarus MiX6 Au for a long time. Would have bought it if found under $50, anywhere..

For $36.62 after coupon retailmenot10off it was an instant buy. Didn't hesitate a second.  Love

I thought that the anniversary prices would start next week. What is this, really??

I know the that you ignore Dino descriptions, but I’ve just had live chat with Abby at DD. She confirms, for what it’s worth, that “Othermix MiX6 AU” is Klarus, and that they have them in stock.

Good spot, and I’m very tempted, but I think it would not get used too much – frightened to chip off all that gold.

And, of course, I ordered it. Now I need to find a nice shelf Big Smile

Any idea why kreisler does this? It seems its you many times he does it too. just curious. I have the MIX6 gold for near a year & it has been dropped many times & is flawless. It seems better then the standard ha111 coating. I was not sure myself with the durability but am now quite impressed.

My theory is it is revenge for my Kreisler=DD comments. Not quite sure though.

There was also concerns about flattening the neg prongs (as reported by kreisler among others). If you look inside the bottom of the body you should see a rubber o-ring around the prongs that prevents this flattening from happening. My G daughter grabbed mine one day & cranked it down so hard (i had a difficult time loosening it) I thought it might be damaged. Did not hurt it a bit as the prongs are still sticking up past the little protective o-ring. I love my MIX6. Also, it is not a battery crusher (as reported by some).

kreisler are you saying the MIX6 will take 10440? I like the LDO1 but on my model the modes are too close together.

Keith

Pretty sure he isn’t – Kreisler is the one who posted on the Other Side about contacting Klarus directly and specifically asking whether 10440 could be used. Negative

Thanks Woody. I did not think so. I“d still like to know why he took the spring out. Seems counter productive.

Interesting. How/why did you do that? Are you saying the light no longer works (- the neg spring)? I don“t see how you removed it (not that I will). Keith lol, Fragen ueber fragen, questions over questions haha. All right, please re-read the full OP of:

It’s not a real review .. but it treats aspects which tend to get overlooked in other reviews. Should answer all of your above questions. And no, i have not tested 10440’s in the MiX6. Yes, the modes of the LD01R4 on 10440’s are close together .. i dont mind.

I wish my MiX6 were less heavy. Its SS weight can surely be felt!! ( or i am a sissy haha )

What are talking about? I never asked that. Stop making shit up. Are you a sissy? Hell, I don“t know (I didn“t say you were Wink ). But even a sissy can carry a little AAA light.

Great looking light, but Im not sold on the gold plating.

I think that the gold color would come off carried with your BMW transponder or key from being in your pocket.

So it would lose its sheer opulence, hahah.

Ti version looks nice.

Now just “stop it”! You were well on your way to redemption from past “indiscretions” so don“t “devolve” as your posts are for the most part “very” welcome. Redemption is a good thing!

Scaru, If it was not so confusing sometimes it might even be comical. In 60 I actually dated a girl that carried the last name Kreisler. Edit-BTW, she was a very beautiful blonde but she was so dense I saw her for a month & had to run! Saw her about 10 years later & she was about 200 lb. Edit; I just saw that I listed my age as 68 arg! I am ONLY lol 60! HAD TO CORRECT THAT as I do not need to add any extra years LOL

Keith (who is only 60)

I assume that a week after ordering, with only a “we’re processing your order right now” email a couple of days ago, this is par for the course for Dino? This in spite of the fact that my friend Abby, with whom I had a lovely chat, told me it was in stock.

They haven’t realised it is a reasonable deal and decided not to send them, have they? I have my heart set on it now Big Smile

I got an email from DD, on 6th July, inviting me to look at the image of the MiX6 that they had sent, but there was no image! Wasn’t overly concerned, but hope it arrives soon.

Mine arrived this morning, just 32 days after ordering (not that I was counting). Just noticed that the end has changed from HKJ’s photos above (post 9). There are two holes for the split ring to go through, rather than the single, large space.

First person I showed it too went “Oh, that’s lovely – smaller than a lipstick tube”. She’s not getting it Smile
