This thread is about trading SF parts. I know many of us have lots of random SF lights and parts and want/need others. My thinking is most of the time we can trade among ourselves for free to get what we need. Post what you have for trade and what you want.
5. Not SF but P-60 host. Crappy cheap Angelfire 501b with forward clicky that sometimes skips modes. Compleat light minus drop-in. Clip is loose as well. I dropped a P-60 in and it works but sometimes the tail switch changes modes instead of turning it off. Can be turned off but may have to press more than once. Doesn’t happen everytime either. A drop in and a new switch and it is a working light. Maybe someone can fix the switch. I don’t like the light so I am not prepared to work on it. After having the SF L2P, everything else just looks like crap to me. Love the HA3 on the P.
6. Stainless steel laynard ring with laynard. Triangular shape, can’t find link but it is quality. I don’t like Laynards.
7. HA3 (black) reverse tail clicky cap.

I wonder if everyone wants the same stuff and needs the same stuff. I was hoping some people had old P-60 drop ins that they upgraded and forward clickys that they wanted to trade for reverse.
Also, I will split up my MPP-1 any way that is needed. If someone just wants the head to mount on there host, that is fine.
Speedsix, I have nothing to trade, but I am willing to buy your MPP-1. Do you have a L2 or L2P body that you pair with the MPP-1 head? What is the condition, any chips or scratches?
Is your extender glossy or matte finished? I can trade you a matte finish one or a McClicky switch to convert the L2P reverse-clicky to a forward clicky.
Yes, it’s a forward clicky and it’s fairly universal in terms of its use in lights. I’ll convert my reverse-clicky L2P tail cap to forward clicky to forward clicky to ensure it works.
Switch. If any additional parts are needed to get it to work in the L2P tail cap I’ll make sure you get them including what you’ll need to do to get it done. Alternatively, I can do the conversion for you and send it back to you with the original parts.
So, I just did the conversion and documented it. Since I have a hard time posting multiple pictures in one post in these forums I created the post in CPF.
I have lots of SF junk but it seems I always eventually need it. I do however, want very much to replace an old friend I let go some time ago because I didn't anticipate Solarforce's discontinuation . . .
This is the old one piece L2r. Mine was use primarily as a comfy handle to make Foybezels. I traded it to another member along with a 502junk host I had for a couple of L2i's. Pretty good trade but now I wish I had 1 less L2i (I have 5) and one more L2r. Solarforce does sell a product under the L2r pull-down but it's really just an L2 with an extension.
Anyway, if you have an original one-piece L2r in good shape, we could likely make a deal.
Foy, if you have a spare switch for the tailcap I have an L2r for you...
See, the end of last year I was on a quest to see how many lumens I could eek out of 2 measly old double A's... I ended up breaking 600 OTF using two NiZn and a modded boost driver. The driver eventually gave out after 10min, but not before taking the switch with it. It's sat on perched on my "shelf of shame" ever since (everyone has one of those, right?), waiting for me to get around to finishing that project. Well....I'm tired of looking at it...If you want it, it's yours.
Foy, PM me your address and I’ll send you a ring to allow you to install a McClicky in that L2r from Match. You’ll need to cut the nub off of the rubber button, but, it’ll work with that tail cap. Solarforce offers no replacement parts nor spare tail caps for L2r’s so this is about as good as it gets.
