I have two zoomables: one push, one twist. The twisty one seems to actually focus the light; it doesn’t have a smooth beam, but when zoomed, the beam actually intensifies. The other zoomie has a perfectly flat beam with no artifacts or anything (which is quite nice), but when you zoom it, it basically just gets smaller without really shooting much farther.
Is that the way they seem to run in general? Or are there push ones that are more like my twisty?
