Anyone know anything about the Spark SL5 210cw or SL5 220CW?

I had gone to “the other” forum and asked this question because I thought with the huge volume of traffic there someone would own or know about these lights…… But I was wrong, and now the whole forum is down once again, and has been since yesterday. There seems to be a lot of “down-time” over there. I’d say that at least 3 times per week, you cant get through for some reason or another, and it keeps getting worse. Granted, its a busy forum, but I’ve seen much busier forums that really never go down, and certainly dont do so 2-3-4 times per week.

Anyway, I was looking for another single AA EDC light, and I noticed the Spark SL5 220CW and SL5 210CW They look identical, and they are great looking lights, maybe the best looking single AA lights out there!. The 210CW has an XP-G LED and the 220CW has an XM-L, but aside from that, the 2 lights seem to be identical. Those are the 2 cool white versions, hence the “CW” at the end of the name, but there is also neutral versions of each light, so there are 4 different versions of this basic light. I have seen the Goinggear video review, and it seems that the neutral versions are really yellow, but that might just be the video camera making it look that way, but I decided on the cool white versions to be safe, plus they are 30 lumens brighter than their neutral counterparts.

The lights look almost identical to the Spark SL6 lights, which run on an 18650, but smaller. Their reflectors are small-mid sized, so with an XM-L you’d think that maybe it would be very floody like the Zebralight SC600, which I already own, and I dont want the new light to be that floody. With with an XP-G, it should be more throwy, but there’s a third factor here. The reflector is also fairly shallow like the SC600, but a bit narrower, so I was thinking that maybe the XP-G would be the way to go, so after not getting a response to my question over there, I ordered the SL5 210CW with the XP-G.

So I was wondering if anyone has seen this light, or the XM-L version of the SL5, and can tell me what the beam patterns look like? I’m hoping the XP-G will give me a medium beam, not too throwy or floody. That may be true since its reflector is shallow.
