1AA LED Flashlight Quality/Budget

Looking for a Budget/Quality 1AA Flashlight for Christmas gifts.

I need  50+.

A friend has told me about these:

7w Cree LED Zoom 300 Lumen Q5

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

ThanksFlashlight

Yep, either those which are great or the BLF Delight which is cheaper.

The Sipik SK68 and it’s clones have been my most popular light with non flashlight people. I don’t even tell them about 14500s, they don’t need to know, most of the time. Them using AA only helps me sleep at night.

Do you have a working link to these ‘BLF Delight’ lights to purchase?

Here.

the numbers they give are junk, 7 watts would deplete the battery in about 15 minutes, it would also suggest 42 lumens/watt which is a lot lower then a Q5 LED would give, at 200ma you should have over 10 hours of life where they say 2-3, so you have no idea how many lumens it actually gives off, it may be 25 or it may be 200

Yep, I have two of these (one black, one blue), VERY nice lights. Mine dont have momentary which I prefect, but for the price, awesome. Very nice beam pattern too.

I forget how much I paid, I think 2-3$…anyway I am happy with these lights.

I have the Sipik too, but its double-triple the price, probably nicer, and has a clip, but I like them both.

I am finding this one: 2012 3w LED New Hot Salt Torch

and this one: C679 3w 1AA Super Torch

Either of these the 'BLF DeLight'?

Recommendations on either?

This is the one I was talking about.

I bought several of the “BLF Delight” flashlight from different sellers, all were rather disappointing and didn’t live up to reviews.

I think there are many variations and its pretty much luck of the draw if you get one that is any good.

Mrs photon1k bought me a package of 5 of the BLF Delight bargains about a year ago.

It took parts from all five to make one light that would function somewhat reliably and put out enough light to tell that it was turned on. I had fun taking them apart and testing to find the parts that worked the best, and was happy to get at least one working light out of the bunch…

But I cannot recommend the light as a gift, at least not if you like the person you are giving it to. It has very thin walls, inconsistent threading, an ill fitting lens and very low output. I have no experience with the sipik, but based on its appearance alone it would have to be a much nicer light than the BLF Delight.

For gifts I would buy 50 of these with the bulk rate discount from DX you can get a great little light for $8.30 each.

A couple points these are single mode run on either AAs or 14500s so non flashlight people will not be confused by them plus they have a clip are very bright and decent quality.
