Sold to Anonymous for $140!!! Auction to benefit Sardion Master's family

As most of you are aware, our good friend Randy Kringle, a.k.a. Sardion Master, passed away on August 18th of this year leaving behind a wife and 3 children.

Old Lumens created a thread to raise money for Randy's widow, Vivian (Missy) Kringle and her children. Thanks to the generous donations of our BLF brotherhood, Old Lumens was able to send Missy a check for $805. Unfortunately I was not in a position to send any cash but promised to create a special flashlight to be sold to the highest bidder here on BLF with all of the proceeds to be sent to Randy's widow Missy.

This "auction" was delayed a bit as I had to recover from recent surgery but last night I completed and tested the light and man is it a killer!!

I am very proud to present for sale a Mac-Lights Sardion Master Special Edition.

Before I show the rest of the pictures, here are a few details:

  • Hand milled and shortened Maglite Mini
  • Based on my Mac-Lights Zombie Hunter model
  • Cree XM-L T6 CW emitter
  • Low voltage and thermal protection in driver
  • Fully potted driver.
  • 5-modes (H-M-L-Strobe-SOS)
  • 22awg silver on copper silicone insulated wires.
  • Runs on 14500 cell only (Li-Ion or IMR)
  • Fits all protected or unprotected cells
  • 10 degree TIR optics with beautiful beam
  • Bonus 60 degree TIR for flood applications.
  • Special "Sardion Master Spec. Ed." labeling
  • Custom Lanyard included
  • INSANELY bright!!! Is it the new TIR lens I used this time around? Is it a freak emitter I lucked upon with this particular light? Or is it simply the magic of our old friend Sardion Master (Randy Kringle) living in this special light (I just got massive chills writing that)? I honestly don't know but here are my tested results.
    • OTF lumens tested after 10 seconds using freshly charged unprotected TrustFire Flame
      • High mode: 913 lumens (yes, you read that right...913!!!)
      • Medium mode: 379.5 lumens
      • Low mode: 40.7 lumens

There is no reserve on this light. It is possible that you could pick this light up for a steal but I sincerely hope not. Remember, all proceeds from this light will be given to Sardion Master's family to assist them in their time of loss and sorrow, so bid often and bid from your heart.

The sale will close in one week at 6pm on Sept 19th. Highest bid gets the light.

Thank you!!!

Johnny

Excellent work JohnnyMac. How about I start the bidding at $50.

Come on guys, I know some of y'all are just itching to take that thing away from me.Money Mouth

I shouldn't do this but 80$. :D

That’s the spirit!!

Great gesture JohnnyMac! Didn’t know about this as I was gone about 3 weeks. Particulars such as age, what happened? I’ll save you from your very kind gesture scaru & I’ll see your 80 & raise you $20 ($100 bid). Johnny, I was gonna get one of your great lights anyway, but this makes it even better. Condolences for the family. So, so sad. Honestly, I have a VERY heavy heart over this. This kind of generous gesture just means so much for a grieving family. This place is awesome!!!

Keith

110$ Looks like I'm gonna get in another bidding war.

As an added bonus I will include a 60 degree flood TIR lens to compliment the 10 degree TIR currently installed. :)

Bump to keep on the first page.

913 Lumens?!?
What? :open_mouth:

I cant bid, don’t get paid till the end of the month :frowning:

That's very generous of you Johnny!

I'm surprised the bidding has stopped. I guess when something goes above a 100 less people are willing to spend the money. Who knows maybe I will get this light. :D

I can’t write what I’d like to at this point, but suffice to say, you can go off some people :stuck_out_tongue:

Bump...

I’ll go for 120.00

AMAZING Light for a GREAT Cause ...... Someone's going to get a fantastic light !

BUMP!

Though a recent “member” here at BLF, I would appreciate knowing where I could directly contribute…
