Chinese Infilux?

Love the continuously variable output on the Nitecore Infilux series. Anyone know of any Chinese imports that are similar?

I don't know of any budget brands that use a ring for variable control, but both Favourlight/Nuwai and ITP have budget lights with switch-based dimming controls. I'd say the KD Akoray K-106, but there are a few reports coming out of that model no longer having the user-programmable modes.

Sounds like the K-106 3-mode programmable version is available more reliably from Kaidomain. Don't buy it from DealExtreme, you probably won't get lucky.

Thanks so much for the replies! Just ordered the 106, eager to see how the light quality is. Favour Light seems to have something closer to what I need. Before I contact them, I am assuming they are a distrubutor and not a reseller? Anyone know where to buy there products? This light looks very close to what I am looking for: http://favourlight.com/1/#products/ATE0C2L007

Let us know if the 106 ships. I remember someone ordering one recently and it didn't ship after a couple of weeks so KD gave them their money back. The 106 isn't the brightest light by any means, but being able to customize the modes like that is fantastic. The memory works well too.

Not Chinese, not very bight, but has variable output - http://www.maglite.com/maglite_xl100_led.asp and more affordable than the alternatives.

Love the xl100, but just not as bright as I need it to me for most situations.

Oh, and if you want non-budget but still cheaper than the Infilux, the Sunwayman V-series lights have ring-controlled infinitely variable output. About $40 cheaper than the Infilux, but still in the ~$80 range.

Pretty sure that nitecore is a chinese company already ..

sunwayman , jetbeam ,cheaper are olight ,itp ,the D -11 ramps for more than half the price . nitecore extreme klarus , zebra light .. there are lots of the new lights ramping . but really you only need a few set spots low high and med .. nice to be able to change them but if they are near perfect and what You'd set anyway what's the point .. olight infinium ramps up and down with the head losened .. i like to leave mine lose and turns on in super low and gradually ramps up .. pretty cheap too r2 real long throw .. the only light that really feels like it ought to be on a gun.. tight little hot spot
