2 weeks ago I started a thread about best 18650 thrower. I got many replies for witch I'm very grateful...but I still not decided what exacly I want :S
You know, the more you read the more you want... I just came across this thread http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=306895 where some guy made a nice comparaison shots. I'm amazed how the XM-L @ 2.5A performs!
My question now is: Is there any cheap light on 1/2 18650 (or 1 + possibility to use 2 with an extra extent tube) ?I mean,in ~30$ budget. Any chances?
For a start even with a gale of a following wind and a downhill run it's no where near 1000 lumens. .......probably 5-600 at best. It appears to be seriously underdriven. My mm shows 1.4 A on high (for comparison it shows my Q5 WF-502b draws 0.97A). That said, in its present configuration it should be a runtime king.
Yeah,I've seen it :) This torch draws from 2.5 to even 3.5A so I think it's the best I can get. I could also buy a new 3.5/4A driver and push it even more.... :)
