Cheap Alternative for Lumintop TD-15X XM-L T6-1A ?

Hello

2 weeks ago I started a thread about best 18650 thrower. I got many replies for witch I'm very grateful...but I still not decided what exacly I want :S

You know, the more you read the more you want... I just came across this thread http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=306895 where some guy made a nice comparaison shots. I'm amazed how the XM-L @ 2.5A performs!

My question now is: Is there any cheap light on 1/2 18650 (or 1 + possibility to use 2 with an extra extent tube) ?I mean,in ~30$ budget. Any chances?

Thanks a lot in advance :P

OK,I think I found the right one - http://kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=11097 :)

Anyone could tell me where can I buy an extension for this flashlight?

What about this one? ... it is already built for 2 18650. Or that.

Brinyte XML-900 from DX 33.90

Review of it here - http://budgetlightforum.cz.cc/node/1010 :)

I've just taken delivery of one.

For a start even with a gale of a following wind and a downhill run it's no where near 1000 lumens. .......probably 5-600 at best. It appears to be seriously underdriven. My mm shows 1.4 A on high (for comparison it shows my Q5 WF-502b draws 0.97A). That said, in its present configuration it should be a runtime king.

Which one do you have Tas? The KD C8 or one of the three that is linked?

Beware that if you manage to get an extension you may fry the driver. There are many that runs just on 3-7/4.2V. As usual KD specs are a bit lacking.

This http://kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=11103 (Cree XML T6 1000 Lumen 5-Mode White LED Flashlight (2*18650))

Yeah,I've seen it :) This torch draws from 2.5 to even 3.5A so I think it's the best I can get. I could also buy a new 3.5/4A driver and push it even more.... :)

Thanks all for response!

P.S. Do you know if Kaidomain can lower the price on the envelope/box if I ask them for it?

28$ to Europe = tax :/

I can't find a packet from KD, so I can't check, I'd be suprised if they didn't do the same as DX as mark it as a gift and $5.

All the KD parcels I've had have had a value like $16 (And that's presumably in HK$ which makes it not much over a euro).

Even US$16 should be acceptable everywhere in the EU except Denmark.

Ahem, 1,4A from two batteries is equal 2,8A from one.

It is?.well bugga me...I did join here to learn, so that at least is happening.
