nice.

Nice light.

Will 18700 cells fit?

Don’t think XTAR 18700s would fit.

But my good TF Flames 2400 should be ok. Solarforce 2400s should be good too.

I got the T6 3C.

Ok, thanks.

Very nice, too bad about the modes or I'd pick one up. Why in the world would they sandwich Turbo between Strobe and SOS?

With a SMO reflector and a SS bezel, I'd like to see a beam shot as well.

Agree. Very strange to put turbo there.

uuuuiiiii! this one looks indeed awesome!
98mm is extreme short, even the eagletec D25L2C, wich is the only 18650-twisty I know of, is bit longer and this one has a clicky!!!
(There is still the iTP A4 EOS, wich is a 17650-twisty that has about the same lenght as the PAlight)
Only downside could be the driver, I mean 100lm low??? I hope its a typo… If the driver really is that…“awkward” I could still imagine gettin it only for the host for that price and mod it with a lumodrv-driver from Dr. Jones.
(although it should be a bit hard to turn the head in the locked position for only 0,5 seconds, wich is what lumodrv requires to go into ramping, maybe I would have to ask him to change these times…)

@2100: did you already receive it???

Sexy. But I wonder how the mode changing works..

It seems to have the same form/emitter as a 2100, but 20mm (approx) shorter.
Warning: Incoming query may be considered stupid
Does that infer that it would become hotter at a faster rate?

Most interesting…it doesn’t seem to have a traditional clicky.

There’s a two-image animated GIF on this page which shows a finger “tapping” the “clicky”: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=2013.1.3.1.e89894&id=16656751951

I guess CNQG’s description of the UI might be accurate: “Pat the tail Cap to change modes”

Update:
Seems like it uses the same UI as the Palight Z3
There are a few negative reviews of the Z3’s UI on this CPFM thread: link

The taobao page I linked above had this description below the animated GIF (pardon the Google translation, but you get the gist):
“Z3 touch shift technology, turn on the flashlight, as shown above to provide appropriate efforts, you can easily shift gear, flashlight position set above chart, finger moderately increasing the intensity, can be much easier to get touchcontrolled shifting of fun ……. if you have DIY lock file accessories, this function also can DIY lock does not trigger”

Only purchased it a few hours ago.

Cool, please follow up with your opinion. Thanks!

its a xeno e03 but with a 18650, impressive, haha

Xeno E03 is impressive in its own right. It does not have PWM.

Does this light have PWM?

Pretty sure that was intended to be complementary to the e03.

Let’s get the size into perspective. It’s the same length as a Trustfire R5-A3 and only a couple of mm’s thicker. This is truly tiny for an 18650. And its Current Regulated.

...but agree: weird placement of the Turbo mode!

Darn that mode sequence! Looks like a beauty otherwise!
