Is it a C8? Looks like one but no real details. Can’t tell if it takes an 18650 battery or what.

I think so but if it is 1 watt then it has a drive current of around 300 ma. Of course it would be worth it as a host... Big Smile

I just looked up what’s written on it “Pailide GL-K79”

If it is that light its a full size C8.

Well the limited details say 9cm long and 2.5 cm wide, were as a C8 is roughly 14.5 long x 4.2cm at the head so I would have tho think this a miniature caricature of the real deal.
Also says 1W which is deal breaker.

The other one they list;
http://www.newfrog.com/p/the-torch-flashlight-k06-cree-battery-safe-spot...
at $10.97 is listed at 14cm so maybe that one is true C8.

But ya never know, might be worth the $3.58 to find out.

I have a similar one and about same size as advertised. Mine's AAA. The output is not too bad though, uses joule-thief boost circuit, emitter is cheap LED.

BIC had them for $2.60 or something.

A C8 will not fit inside a case that is 40 × 40 mm outside. So not a C8.

 How about a surefire . for 3$

I wonder if they have $11 sunwayman lights

Seems legit, as Surefires are worth exactly $3.... hmm, is there an easier way to get a perma-ban on CPF? Wink
