Something comparable to Stinger?

Hey guys, sorry for the noob question. I hope to be a resident expert one of these days myself :slight_smile:
A cop buddy of mine had a Streamlite Stinger and is looking to replace it, but doesn’t have $100 to shell out. What would be comparable, as far as a budget light, to a Stinger?

Hmm... Seems like your best bet would be a Balder SE-1, some eneloops, and an Intellicharge I4. That should be right around 60 dollars.

IIRC the SL Stinger was popular with LEO partly because of the convenience of the charging dock. If that's what your friend is looking for then there really isn't a budget equivalent.

If he just wants a small bright tactical light minus the charging dock and is willing to use 18650, then there are dozens of good options under $60.
