You guys have seen these lanterns in action before and they are highly recommended and very, very, very easy to mod with an LED of your choice.

Great find! I might buy one of these, they sounds awesome for power outages.
I find it weird that they’re still comparing LEDs to a fire…
‘This thing is insane! You wouldn’t expect to find a battery lantern that could out-perform a traditional gas or fuel lantern…’

I’m off to Anaconda tomorrow, not for the lantern, but I need to get some of their discounted travel towels.

I do have an odd version of this lantern where there are three 5mm LEDs as well facing you where you push the on button.

Linkage here (yeah, it’s from CPF Marketplace…)

The above is not compatible with rechargeables, but this one should be.

Great lantern. A bit on the heavy side with 3 D-batteries but the runtime should be great (haven’t changed the batteries in mine since I bought it). I’ve also changed the led, mine is running a warm white XM-L for better tint.

Buy it.
