Simple, three questions, why did you choose your current avatar?
What is your avatar?
Are you planning on changing your avatar?
Mine is a photo of an HID in a dark room facing downward on a white surface shining bright.
I chose this avatar as I think it is fitting for the BLF forum and that I additionally love my HID.
I do not foresee changing my avatar anytime soon.
Would like to hear from you all…
Cheers!
Steve
I am a surfer
What I do
NTG = Nate The Great … the series of kids books, which I enjoyed as a kid, and my real first name is Nate.
NTG is a way of running “incognito” in forums.
Planned changed of my avatar…that’s confidential info!
PA40, O.L. Mule TS, Fenix EO1, Old Dorcy 1xAAA Gen 2 (Link), Princeton Tec
Then how come your name isn’t “jackthesurfer”?
I didn’t choose my avatar, my wife put it up there because she thought you’d all make fun of me for having a fat cat as an avatar. Little did she know that fraternal humor is the norm here at BLF and that plenty of you folks have your pets as your avatar anyway.
My avatar is the family pet. He is a Maine Coon Cat named “Meatloaf”. He got his name because when he first came home from the shelter and was taken out of the carrier, he took off like a “Bat Out of Hell”.
I would change it, but I’m too lazy to figure out how she put it up there and might not be able to figure it out even if I tried.
fidem, prae caeteris omnibus praeter honestatem
Don't be confused, my Username has been changed from "Cone" to "T.H.Cone". I'm still the same clown.
Simple, it's a picture of me. Boring, right?
Boycott Nike
Some are simple, some are boring, some are funny and others well….need some sort of explaining I guess.
I'm working on it.

Mine is just a pic of my Armytek Predator glowing from this thread
http://budgetlightforum.com/node/8022#node-8022Used to be a pic of the waterboy serving an 8-bit Tecmo Super Bowl player a drink.
Well i asked a member here if i could borrow it and told me a funny story about and the rest explains itself.
Can't figger out how to use my "regular" avatar over here....different format, I guess.
Current avatar is youngest GrandSon, not yet 5 y.o., but a gifted athlete.
Ship finally came in. I was at the airport.
Mine is the infamous picture of a giant baby that photoshopped a headlamp and a flashlight into.
Probably not changing it anytime soon.

Mine is just me taken during our "Big Trip" to Jamaica after my wife finished her Masters degree. The photographer took this photo and after he saw it he said I MUST keep this photo for Facebook. I don't do Facebook (I know, I'm in the minority), so thought I'd make use of it here. I've been itching to change it again, but I'm not very creative.

Old-Lumens. Highly admired and cherished member of Budget Light Forum. 11.5.2011 - 20.12.16. RIP.
Just changed mine from Evil Otto of the 1980s video game Bizerk to David Mann, the guy who was escaping the charging semi in the 1971 hit movie (you really should see it!), Duel.
I just get tired of them from time to time, and hence, feel the need to change them.

Pajama Sam was a computer game I used to play with my son (seems like such a long time ago, my son’s 18 now). Anyway, in the game Sam had to find his flashlight and go on a quest to find where darkness lived. Seems appropriate now.
I remember a time, when I searched for lights to fit my needs. Now I search for needs to fit my lights.
The BIG question remains…. scaru, is that really you in the avatar?
I like the Akoray K-106.
Budget Light Forum ...where Frugal meets with Flashlight!
Very fitting for an avatar… It seems like some actually have meaning or history behind what we see.
I remember when you adopted that photo, scaru.
Mine is a picture of the Brooks leather saddle on my rode bike. It's a B-17 Champions Special with Titanium rails and the saddle style has been in production for over a century. 35,000 miles on this particular saddle and counting. Biking is what brought me to BLF, but I've had that avatar for many years on other forums.
That is one ginormous turkey!!!

Sweet looking light. Definately want one. Did you take the pic?
I Fish; Therefore, I Am.
Me and my 173 lb. halibut in Homer, Alaska a very long time ago.
It took me a while but I finally found this old pic.

I've been using my avatar for a number of years now on a lot of forums. It's my adult beverage of choice that I close out each day good or bad with. It goes well with either a good book or good music.
You're never too old to learn something stupid.
2 budget lights after baking, originally black. Ultrafire 501B and 502B.
Jack the Surfing Clipper is more impressive at non-avatar size.
