Thrunite have been doing some great deals recently, but I would be seriously annoyed if I’d just bought a TN31 for full price. As it is, I’m happy to have the K40 arriving soon, hopefully.

I wonder if they are doing this to screw up the K40 sales.

well thrunite knew it was gonna end eventually. they raked in a lot of cash selling overpriced TN31’s simply cos there was no competition except for higher-priced Olight SR-series. that’s capitalism LOL

now that the exclusivity has ended they figured the K40 would clobber their sales so…

the price wars have begun (great for us consumers Smile )

I have been thinking of the TN31 for quite a while now but was trying to decide if this modded one was worth the premium.  $285. http://www.onestopthrowshop.com/ThruNite-TN31-TN31.htm

Saw one of the stock models in action the other night and it was impressive but we were discussing how the saabluster upgrade was so tempting.

But hey, at $139 (+ bonus T10) this is a bloody hard deal to pass up.

So waddyaall think?  If you took this offer, would you still end up wishing you'd got the hot rod model?  Is this sickness the sign of a true flashaholic? Embarassed

I have 3 days left to decide!

I wouldn’t worry too much about the 3 days – their clock seems to reset to “3 days left” each day Smile Check it out tomorrow.

I ordered two Ti “Buddles” from them and they arrived quickly and all the lights were there (from Craig at Illumination Supply). Just had to add some grease on the threads. I’d say the store is safe and probably a good place to buy.

This bundle is looking really nice, and I’m getting more 18650 batteries. MUST RESIST!

Uggh. I paid 200.00 for mine and thought that was a good deal! I’d snap this one up in a heartbeat.

And it’s definitely a reaction to the K40 – which I’ve ordered. Now, if only there was competition for the Nitecore TM15. (BTW, did gunsafari.com go out of business? I bought my TM11 from them…)

My name is indy, and I've been a flashaholic since 2004.

same here Smile
Thanks Dimlux for the info about this deal, and pretzy for the feedback.
I was just about to order from HKE, but this is a far better deal. I had a chatt with online customer support before ordering, and all orders ship with DHL now since a few days to improve shipping. Hopefully the customs dont get too curious. I have been lucky so far with my orders via registered airmail.

If size makes a difference, the K40 is more compact.

Toppel, check out selfbuilt's revised lux numbers (here).  He has the Crelant 7G5 also.

Also did you watch TurboBB's vid review of the K40 (here)?  He talks about the T31.

It should smoke it since it’s putting out over 30,000 more lux.
