A8 all the way, if tint selection is a possibility.

rough spec and price will be:

L->M->H (2-30-100%)
- no memory
- >1kHz PWM
- NW emitter (T6 3C)

Z8 price: 18$

A8:23$

C8 T6:16.5$

501B15.5$

And the A8 has made a strong start out of the gate…

$23 for a NW A8? That has to be a no-brainer.

That sounds exactly like a XinTD C8 but at half the price!

I take it TF will keep supplying you lights with the BLF driver

Any links for the lights in their normal guise? I know a couple of them, but not familiar with the others.

That aside anything C8 sized should NEVER start on low but on high. Seriously if you are using such a flashlight for low light use then it’s using a sledgehammer to hang a picture on the wall.

sorry for my bad English,

what does this mean? expensive? cheap?

I am no native speaker either, but I understand it as: so cheap that you don't need thinking buying it

Unfamiliar with the A8. What is the ’brand.?
Thanks

I'm in fior an A* can we get or names printed on it like for me it would be nice to have BLF How2

A8!

My first choice is the TrustFire A8 (26650).

My backup choice would be the TrustFire Z8 (14500 AA).

However, I wouldn't want either of them to start on low. ;)

EDIT: Forget what I said about modes. We can deal with that later.

Looks like it comes with a charger and battery. Personally not interested in paying for those bits. Just the light for me. Op can you clarify exactly what would be the offer?

Definitely without battery and charger.

MF price with battery and charger is $44.

HKE sells just light for $27.

I LOVE my BLF Mini01 in large part because of its L/M/H mode order. For pocket/keychain size lights it is what I prefer most times.

However for larger lights like these I have to agree, H/M/L order makes more sense considering the intended use.

I think all options are a great deal, but I am leaning A8. Would that price include holster and any extras?

Maybe an option for battery and charger. I have no 26650. I think that charger was decent right?

djozz was correct. I simply mean that the price is good enough that I wouldn’t have to think about it. I’d just buy it.

Rey, is it not possible for Nichia 219 emitter? I believe a lot of BLF'ers are really itching for one, thanks to the gazillion teaser pics thrown at us.

I'd go for a Z8 if that is possible.

The Trustfire TR-005 is supposed to be a pretty good 26650 fast charger.
