There are better pic on this site and this site has a triple version?

Here is the triple version I think.

Yes there is a triple but it has XR-E leds.

So…. how big is that reflector?

Yuk. It looks like a thermos flask laying on it’s side.

According from the seller from here , the body diameter (which is also equals to head) is 115mm, and the reflector is 95mm(!)

But from some other sources it’s described as 69mm body diameter… :expressionless:

Wish to know more about this, looks tempting anyway.

+1

I think it is okay to say the least. Yeah it doesnt have flutes flats and crenelations but it is plain and straight forward. For the purpose of the item it really doesnt need it, but for the price? ouch it could look better and be cheaper……

As far as size, I am assuming it is the latter and not a very large reflector at all….

The label on the torch itself (shown in the pic several posts up) clearly states the dimensions as 69.5mm x 162mm so the place saying it's 115 is very much wrong. I think they are counting in the handle for it's widest point.

I had got two such close-cousin torches but of different factories in China and in different configurations.

The first one is still working flawlessly in 3 x Q5s, said to be custom build for Search and Rescue purpose for firefighters with the best Li-Ion cells. It is as bright as 3 x T6 with a very tight spot and complete with foolproof +/- circular charging ports in different diameters. Price is US@45.00 cash deal.

The second one is this advertised one. Without o-ring sealing or similar measure but otherwise of clean and healthy internals as shown. The handle with a simple switch is of inferior quality and the +/- charging ports are of same diameter without identification at all. Running time was proved to be catastrophic and finally refused to hold the charge at all. Might be faulty cells resulting from hot and humid summer . Last seen working was after found with glass lens condensation, turned on for a while after recharge and RIP.

I really wanted this light in the 3x version, but the proprietary battery pack turned me off to it for one thing. The other thing is the price. “Light In The Box” has the triple version much less than anyone else, but it’s still $138.00. Considering they used what I believe to be the battery carriers that are inside my 24w HID flashlights (Oracle & Tactical HID’s version), I can’t see that this is worth anywhere near the money they are asking.
