Got my Maelstrom X10 today and I love it!

If you’re thinking of buying one; – Do it!!!
I’m running mine on a Trustfire 18650 as my 26650:s from hkequipment has’nt arrived yet
and it’s really nice and throwy with a big spot and good, useable spill.
A real forward clicky would have been nice but it feels built like a tank, I like it a lot!

A total of $66 delivered to Sweden, not bad… and too my surprise it slipped through customs without getting another $32 added… :) :)

Just felt I should share the luv… Smile

Update: got my Trustfire 26650:s from hke today, even better now!

I have thought about getting one, but haven’t yet. I don’t have a 26650 light yet, and personally don’t know if I want to get one. But they do look like a great flashlight.

Congrats!

I got the Maelstrom S12 wich is the exact same light except with a SST 90 instead of XM-L. I love the shear sturdiness of the build. I have been wrestling with also picking up an X10, but my inner self keeps telling me I am becoming a hoarder.

I considered the S12 too, the size of the spot is a lot bigger than the X10:s and it´s really throwy too, seems like a really great light!

I didn´t have to choose, as the S12 sold out before I got my refund from DD which paid for the X10…

My Shadow SL3 & Foursevens 26650 battery came yesterday and it’s great. Puts out a ton of light and throws well also. Blows my 600 lumen MCE Deerelight away.

I ordered one of these X10’s from the Going Gear sale as a Christmas gift and it is a beautiful piece of kit. Very well made, and very bright with a nice simple UI. Now if the ML102 and the KingKongs that make up the other part of the present would just hurry up and arrive!

If there is any extra money available after the holidays and any of these left, I may have to get one for myself as well.

I own two X10. Love them and like to play them in my hand as they are small.
X10 is flashlight with a lot of design consideration in her, even though she has simple UI.

cool i'll see you when you get there

I got my Maelstrom X10 together with a King Kong 26650 eight days ago and I’m very happy with it. My job includes ensuring the security of the facilities inside the 7400 hectare Geothermal Complex which is surrounded by thick vegetation (forest) and the X10 has served me well, so far. Smile

The only problem I encountered was that when the battery runs out and I had to resort to my crappy Police tactical lights while my lone 26650 is being recharged. At least one spare battery is recommended and I should have thought of this before. Sad

Congratulations on your X10. It is such a nice little flashlight, besides functions, I like her machining and appearance a lot. Those 26650 take quite long to charge them full.
