Go ahead and link it. There aren’t any ridiculous restrictions regarding that around here Wink

I hope it’s cheaper than the Niteye. But this should be mostly a flooder I think. Maybe around 25-35kcd I’m guessing.

the switch is in the right spot!

looks pretty nice but i haven’t read any owner opinions on having a handle on the side

seems it would work well for using the light – but carrying it in a holster? actually, that might make it very easy to ‘draw’

edit: i’d like to see some numbers from one w/ 4 ashpericals fitted Smile

I guess it comes down to how hard they’re driven and surface area (heat dissipation ability)… but for $75 it doesn’t look too bad, except the bezels on the ultrafire are maybe a bit too aggressive.

I think it will, Niteye is generally high priced

Wow! I was looking to get a light in this configuration, but thought the Niteyes were too expensive.

Scheduled release date is December 5 2012. Goinggear is supposed to carry it but I couldn’t find a pre-order link probably because they wanted to wait for the Black Friday sales to end.

I couldn’t find a price, but I wouldn’t pay more than 150.00 for a Black Shadow…

These Black Shadow lights are remarkable!  Owning two of them (Darth & Padme) I have to say I have not seen other lights machined to these standards.  They are truly works of art and fine examples of machining craftsmanship.  Look at these macros of the Terminator...

No visible machining marks or sharp edges to be found.  Just perfect surfaces and anodizing.  Works of art IMO.  I love the color they use, too!

They are coming out with all sorts of designs to fill every little niche for us flashoholics.

I think all the X's on the body makes it seem like it came from Professor Xavier's Mansion or Dr. McCoy's lab.  It's the new X-men's field lighting tool.

Will save up for this next summer.

I’ve got a thrower, a flooder, and an EDC too. Still looking for a bigger thrower, flooder, and a new EDC, give or take a few. I’m a flashaholic.

Wow I like that! I own an EYE-30, and was a bit bummed when the EYE-40 came out, but wasn’t going to spend that much more coin on another light right away. This thing might be a nice alternative. It would be great if you can turn it off at any point without having to cycle down to off. They should kill the strobe and have it as press and hold the button for more than a second to turn off.

I don’t know why I like flashlights so much… I must have been left in the dark for too long as a child! LOL

Goinggear knows nothing about it yet. That’s frustrating.

The 159000 won is a pre-order sale price. It goes up to 199000 when released. That would be

$183.00USD.

The light comes in neutral or cool white!

I'm waiting for an email response from my contact at Black Shadow about this light.  I have to admit I am completely smitten with every one of their lights so far.  They are like Pokemon and I need to catch them all.
