I’m going to buy a light and need a recommendation. I’m considering the Solarforce L2m host and a drop in, specifically the Solarforce 880 Lumens U2 XM-L 3 mode. I don’t want a cool white output. It needs to have a low mode (dim enough to read a book without blinding me) and be pocketable. The price appears to be $40-ish including shipping.
I’m also looking at the Sunwayman V10R and M11R, but they’re a bit pricey. If the consensus here is that they are better and worth the money (~$80 is the best I’ve found), I’d go with the Sunwayman. Also, I don’t know my lights well enough to know there is something better that uses regular and rechargeable 123 size batteries.
