I’m in a similar boat how2, although to be fair to them I think its customs/parcel force causing the hold up.

It’s not helping that tracking now won’t update till the package is delivered. :~

Holy crap. I ordered an XP-G from FastTech last week and it arrived today! They managed to send it from Hong Kong to my doorstep in Kentucky in 7 days. In my experience, after 7 days, my orders from DX or Manafont or ebay would probably still be sitting in customs half a world away.

To the FastTech guys: I don’t know how you did it but you’re doing it right. Don’t change a thing. You’ve earned a customer.

Hey guys, hopefully you can help me out. On the fasttech website, can you show me/link me to the drop-in modules that would fit on my Lumaforce LF1 body? I believe this body is the same as the Surefire…

Can I drop in any of the LED modules they have?

Well not anyone that they have.  Stick to the smaller "26.5mm diameter" ones.  Those are "P60" drop-ins which your flashlight body takes.  You'll also need 4.2v (perhaps listed as 3.6v) input voltage.  They don't have a great selection of P60 drop-ins though.

I've just made my first Fasttech order; about $70 worth. It's several miscellaneous drivers and gear, and the $40 FandyFire V6 (STL-V2 clone - http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10001314/1107600-fandyfire-stl-v6-xm-lt6-2-group-1000-lumen-white-l) with 2x Trustfire Flames and the Trustfire TR-001 charger for a coworker.

The Rook is very high up on my "Want" list, but that will have to wait until sometime after Christmas.

And I didn't know there was a coupon code! Cry

I guess the coupon is still working even though it was supposed to end on Dec. 15th?

Here's a fun one I just stumbled on:

Fasttech has 7135s for sale; $1.85/10 and $13.99/100. Beats stripping a Nanjg to get spares...

Just received my first shipment. 7 days to HK (well, 3 + weekend + 2 days to ‘pick it up due to failed delivery’)

Weird thing is the tracking number they supplied never worked, and when it arrived it had a completely different tracking number on it.

Impressive is the word. Ordered 12/10, received 12/19. Faster than any other and cheaper too. 4 TF flames and 5 drivers.

Three Tanna leaves to give him life, nine to give him movement. But what if he eats the whole bag?

I’ve done 8-9 orders to the middle of nowhere here in Death Valley. Even priority mail to here from instate takes 5-6 days. My fasttech orders have been getting here in 7-10 days. IN THE CHRISTMAS RUSH! This is the way a mail-order company should be run.

I understand that other vendors may not have the slick setup on the fast mail, but the thing that ALWAYS kills me with the other web-site dealers is how long the order just sits there before shipping. I could make a peach-pit bust of Ben Franklin in the time some of these orders take to ship. And that includes EATING the peaches.

The inordinate delay — to me — is like thumbing noses at the customer: We just don’t care about your business. And there is NEVER an explanation from other sites about the delays. EVER If they just told me why, I would be more understanding.

In a few short weeks, Fasttech has literally turned the Chinese gadget mail-order business on its ear. They have all but eliminated the biggest complaint about ordering from China, the delays. And the lack of CS. I have yet to have an issue with an order, but I have a strong feeling there won’t be any of the manafont “forget-a-refund” ‘tude.

But the big question is: If these guys can do it, why can’t DD and tmart and manafont. Fastech has raised the bar. The others better step up to the new rules or fall by the wayside.

And then to open an anything-goes thread like this on BLF.

Hats off to Fasttech.

How have I not heard of these guys before?

From a quick browse on the web site they are cheaper then anywhere else: they ship faster then any other HK reseller and their rep talks proper English…. I wish I had money to spend just to try them out.

Ordered a couple of bits from them on Thursday, dispatch confirmed yesterday. I paid the extra £0.70 to get registered airmail. If they can land it with me between crimbo and new year I know where my birthday money will be going…

So far for me:

Ordered 12-18

Shipped 12-20

Processed through sort facility (HK) 12-22

I was impressed that they were able to fill the order so quickly since it was a mixed bag of drivers, cells, charger, flashlight, bare emitters, and waterproof matches...

they're fairly new.  I've only heard of them since about a week and a half.  I've seen someone order in November though.   from the web site: "© 2012 FastTech.com"

placed an order 20 Dec.  we'll see how fast they are Smile

Still waiting on my very first order. Not impressed so far. Tmart in the US ships much faster.
