I though about hijacking garrybunk’s F20 Emitter Swap thread, but that wouldn’t be nice; and this might be useful.
The Trustfire F20 is reported to have a useful driver.
One which has been documented is the model “TR-0071a”.
It includes the silly strobe and the SOS blinking modes, which always kill flashlight sales for me. I can almost get people to cough up the extreme price (customer: “I would NEVER pay more than $3 for a flashlight!”) until they see the strobe. I can’t even advocate the SOS (that may actually be useful someday), because that first strobe sends them all away!
I (and perhaps others?) would LOVE to know how to stop this. There’s not THAT much light OTF anyway, so multiple dimming modes (beyond what it has) aren’t really necessary either, just stop the blinking.
Any ideas?
