Hi guy's I thought it was about time to register over here, FWIW I'm already a member over at FLF...
Been a flash-a-holic fan since I was a kid and have over the years collected a number of lights though I don't have one specific brand loyalty, function is primary my criteria but value/performance is equally important, thus I've come to here to experience/share yet another facet to this hobby.
BLF is a good place to talk about budget lights ,
What part of the great southern hotplate do you purkulate on ?
Probably not the west coast.... No one lives in the west coast.. only me and couple other people here and there....

We were going to do a flashlight meet April , here in Melbourne , but it was being organized on CPF [ which I be-leave is setting new records for down time ]

Hope that this isn’t a thread hijack, but as I’m from Sydney, thought I’d tack on to the end here.
Relative noob with flashlights etc, but have learnt heaps, and have been having some fun tormenting neighbours and possums 
I’m definitely a budget guy, so figure that I fit much better here than at CPF. The introductory thread in the Budget Light forum there made me do a “WTF?”
“This forum, the Budget Lights forum was created for a number of reasons. The main one being the sheer number of budget or “cheap” lights threads/posts being created. This will be a trial run. After their cough problems recently, I figured I had to find a better place to hang out, and this place seems to be friendly and stuffed with excellent info. Hope I may be able to contribute to the community in some small way.
