Anyone know the specs of this baby? Appears not quite as bright - maybe as bright as Stinger (180 lumen) - with same throw, but bluer. Can’t tell what emitter it is using.

don’t know specifics - of the bridgelux epistar sort, about 3W and regulated only by resistance of internals
the pill is hollow, but if you have a file, piece of copper rod, and a hacksaw (for the rod) that actually is a benefit.
easiest upgrade is lens - there is a budget lens that is drop in fit. unfortunately, I can’t narrow down which one until I find mind (still packed from moving), measure it and do some searching (which will probably be in 2013).
the one I kept has xml soldered to copper rod and uses east092 driver “direct drive” on high driver. in quotes because it pulls way more on true direct drive (instant emitter death) because I soldered copper braid to switch leads and tail spring.
w/ the driver it goes about 5.5 amps with tenergy nimh Ds.
I also junked a second one except the neck that the head screws onto. I jb welded a HF 4xAA head to that neck, w/ 78mm aspheric in it.
ugly as heck, but the throw is ridiculous - with either head.
