1K post give away - Romisen RC-G2 - Winner lionheart_2281

40+ flashlights have come into my hands and been given away or sold over the last 12 months and even though I have lights worth 3 to 8 times as much, the RC-G2 has always been my go to light for nearly all of my needs.

The RC-G2 feels like a solid chunk of steel and is very fitting to the hand, and it does what it needs to do. There is no messing around when it comes to the RC-G2, 1 click and you have light for 100 meters, another click will send a 20+ kilometre beam of darkness through the night.

The heft gives it a feel of a more premium light, the throw from a single AA is nearly unmatched and unlike other expensive lights you don’t mind getting dirty with it under the car or just leaving it laying around where as others I feel they are “too good to use”.

I have smaller lights, bigger lights, way more powerful lights, lights with multiple modes yet this has seen the most use out of all of my others combined.

It’s not my favourite yet I am drawn to it nearly every time, maybe its just the simple on/off, or the way it seems to perfectly form to the hand, perhaps the way it lights up everything you need it to without being overkill, or maybe because it feels like it could shatter diamonds… whatever it is, it cant be explained.

I would like to thank/blame jacktheclipper for my first RC-G2 purchase, and my second and third and fourth and fifth RC-G2 purchases as well.

OK now to the point of this, I noticed I was near 1000 posts and though what could I give away, what’s a good light that hopefully people wont throw a in a draw and leave it there for years? Then it was clear to me what it would be.

To enter just write why you would like to own one, it can be short or long or realistic or creative, it doesn’t matter.

The winner will be drawn using random.org around the time of my 1000th post or perhaps sooner if my posts are too slow. The light will be bought and shipped directly from DX.

Goodluck to everyone who enters.

Because I have an addiction!!

I would like to own one, since this is the model I have skipped in the Romisen -line.

It really is, even though it is probably the most well known.
Anyway, up to date I have owned RC-C6, RC-C8, couple RC-C3, T601…

I want one to mod with an xpg2 and a 1A driver, it throws like a champ and I wish they made it with HAIII anodizing, its an awesome little light

Because I don’t own any Romisen’s!

Thanks for the giveaway!

If I don’t win this one I will have to order you for sure.
My Sister-in-Law has to walk the dog and I try to give her a light or 2 durning the winter.

Thanks for doing this!!!

My first was Romisen RC-N3. Still use it and love that it converts to single CR123 in a pinch. 2nd was RC-29 (14500) another novel little jewel.
I always wondered about the RC-G2…read lots of praises and you seem to confirm it’s a great little torch too.
Count me in for the little baby. Thanks!

hi,thanks for the giveaway

i would like it and try to mod it with xml u3 and 3+A driver.i think it will be a nice rocket pocket.

I would like the Romisen because I don't own any right now and it looks like a tough little light. Thanks ezarc, congrats on your 1k!

Thanks for the giveaway and chance to win!

I would like to own the RC-G2 because it is a beautiful Romisen :)

I don’t have a light yet in that size. I have a big dual 18650, and then a few aa and aaa’s. And it just looks like a nice neutral light, design wise. I’m in!

don't have that brand in my collection.. would like to add it.. count me in

Awesome giveaway , ezarc !

I don't want to be included , but I know whoever wins this light will see why it's a must-have .

I’ve never owned or held a Romisen, so this is my big chance.

Because I like black flashlights

Thanks.

because I have an older G2 and would like to see how much world has changed since that time!

I would like one because I have never had a light that can throw 20 kilometers. ;)

I’ve never tried one and would like to try it and win something cool.

because my current 10000 lumen just isn’t enough (thanks)
