I did some quick preliminary IS checks on it as soon as I had cells in it. Now, mind you, the light doesn't fit into the hole of my IS, yet, so some of the light from the Terminator isn't getting inside the IS. It's not a whole bunch that's being blocked but enough to skew the output figures. Anyway, it's still the brightest light I've owned. I will enlarge the opening of my IS to accommodate the Terminator when I do my full review and will post the true numbers but here is what I have so far...
Low - 286.4 OTF
Medium - 1500.7 OTF
High - 2702.7 OTF
Initial impressions of the light so far?
Tiny!
Incredible switch feel!
Lubed threads
Best build quality I've ever seen. Flawless machining, fit and finish.
Feels like it was machined from a solid block of billet. Zero battery rattle. Unbelievably impressive feel.
Nothing negative to speak of so far except that I doubt it will do 3500 lumens. Once I get my IS opened up to fit it I hope to see 3000 OTF. I expect the throw to be pretty good.
Is yours a NW or CW? Mine is a CW and I would have no trouble believing 3K+ lumens. I will compare it again (naked eye test only) with my TN30 CW tonight.
Here are my thoughts on OTF lumens: If the TK75 is 2600 ANSI lumens and someone from Fenix told me each emitter is driven at 2.9a, then the Terminator must certainly be close to 3500 ANSI lumens since it is 2.8a (I assume each LED) x 4.
That I can’t help you with. I know in another Terminator thread by bwolcott several folks posted some prices. This one was sent to me by Black Shadow for a full review.
